Here we go for the other side of the bracket.
I hope you're ready. I promise you round two through. Everything else goes faster. Yeah, it always does. Okay, moving along. Here we go. Top of the racket at number 29, Dr. Doom's fear fall. I don't know why that was so difficult. Over. Flight of the hippogriff. Dr. Doom versus Flight of the Hippogriff.
Brooks, talk to me, baby. What you got? Flight of the Hippogram. Okay, here we go. Steph, how about you?
[00:01:36] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:01:37] Speaker C: You couldn't pay me any exorbitant amount of money to go on Dr. Doom.
[00:01:42] Speaker A: It's just not sobering.
[00:01:43] Speaker C: Ever.
[00:01:43] Speaker A: That's a big word.
[00:01:45] Speaker C: Yes, I'm pretty sure I said it wrong too. But there is no way, none, none that I would go on that ride. None.
[00:01:56] Speaker D: Would you do it for a Klondike board?
[00:01:58] Speaker C: No. Flight of the Hippogriff.
[00:02:01] Speaker A: I mean, it's a valid choice. So we got two for the Hippogriff. Christie.
[00:02:06] Speaker E: Ah, flight.
[00:02:07] Speaker A: Not too bad. I could go for a flight too. Veronica.
[00:02:11] Speaker B: Flight of the Hypocrite.
[00:02:15] Speaker D: Now, I don't like free falling, but free falling, I mean, flight is green.
[00:02:21] Speaker C: The only reason I go on Tower of Terror is because it's closed. If I saw impending doom. I am afraid of heights. I love roller coasters. But there this dropness happened. No, ma'am. No, sir. No, ma'am. None of it.
[00:02:38] Speaker A: None of it. You don't drop on Tower of Terror.
[00:02:42] Speaker D: You're pulled.
[00:02:43] Speaker C: Yes, I can do that. And I was scared going on the Guardians of the Galaxy version over at California. And I, I, I, I was scared. I did it. Would I do it again? Yes, I would absolutely do it again.
But yeah, this, this sensation of dropping that way.
Ma'am.
[00:03:05] Speaker A: Sir, that is a solid negative. Ghost Rider from Steph over there. Moving on. This should be an easy run, but I really hate one of these attractions. One fish, two fish. Red fish, blue fish.
Say that one three times fast. Or Skull Island's Reign of Kong.
[00:03:27] Speaker D: Gee, I wonder which one you hate.
[00:03:30] Speaker A: I'm willing to bet that you can guess. Christy, what do you think? What are we thinking?
[00:03:36] Speaker E: I'm gonna go with Kong on that one.
[00:03:38] Speaker A: Kong. Veronica Kong Brooks.
[00:03:42] Speaker D: One fish, two fish.
[00:03:44] Speaker A: Ooh, two to one. Steph, what are you doing?
[00:03:47] Speaker C: One fish, two fish. All the fish galore.
[00:03:50] Speaker A: All the fish indeed. Moving on. Because I hate Reign of Kong that.
[00:03:54] Speaker C: Much, I despise that ride with a fiery, burning passion.
[00:03:59] Speaker A: I think it's the dumbest attraction Universal came up with.
[00:04:01] Speaker D: I would go with Fast and Furious, fully charged.
[00:04:05] Speaker A: I would rather have Fast and Furious over Reign of Kong.
[00:04:08] Speaker C: Yep.
[00:04:09] Speaker A: I love you. You're welcome.
[00:04:10] Speaker D: It looks like you made it through.
[00:04:12] Speaker C: Hopefully Veronica and Christy aren't off.
[00:04:16] Speaker B: I hope not.
I just picked one.
[00:04:19] Speaker A: Well, because really we have Dumbo over at the Magic Kingdom.
Or Magic Carpet Distractions. Or Triceratops Spin. Rest in peace.
[00:04:28] Speaker C: Rest in Peace.
[00:04:30] Speaker A: Moving right along. Here we go. Tron Light Cycle Run. Or Frozen Ever After. The attraction in Norway. One of them is going bye bye. Which one is it gonna be? And since Veronica had the biggest reaction, guess who I'm going to.
[00:04:50] Speaker B: But it's Tron.
So Tron.
[00:04:55] Speaker A: Tron is Christie.
[00:04:59] Speaker E: Tron all the way.
[00:05:00] Speaker A: Who to? For Tron Brooks.
[00:05:02] Speaker E: Love that ride.
[00:05:06] Speaker A: 3 and O for Trond. I guess Anna and Elsa. Oh, no more. Goodbye, Arendelle.
[00:05:12] Speaker D: Well, they still have their sing along.
[00:05:16] Speaker A: That is true. You could just let it go. Let it go.
[00:05:19] Speaker B: Never let it go.
[00:05:27] Speaker D: So does Ellie. She loves her Anna dress. Her Elsa dress. She has an Elsa dress.
[00:05:32] Speaker A: Steph, I need an answer.
[00:05:35] Speaker C: Tron.
[00:05:35] Speaker A: Oh, dear. Tron. Moving on. Yeah.
[00:05:38] Speaker D: Get to wee bit British.
[00:05:40] Speaker A: Yeah, sometimes it happens. When? When I go out to eat for work. Here we go. Moving on. Illumination's Villain Con Minion Blast.
Or where's my other one? Ooh, Seven Dwarves. Mine Train.
[00:05:57] Speaker C: How about Steph, the biggest fan of Seven Dwarves. Mine Train. So I'm going with Minion.
[00:06:01] Speaker A: Could be looking for two new podcast hosts. How about Christy? Seven Dwarves, one to one Brooks.
[00:06:07] Speaker D: I'm not the biggest fan of seven dwarfs either, but seven dwarfs.
[00:06:11] Speaker A: Veronica, how do you feel about being a podcast host?
I'm just kidding. I wouldn't do that to those two. They're great.
[00:06:18] Speaker B: Even if they Seven Dwarves for sure.
[00:06:23] Speaker A: I lost counter. We tied two to two.
[00:06:25] Speaker D: No, three to one.
[00:06:26] Speaker A: Seven Dwarves. One.
Oh, man. What number was that paper?
Oh. Rest in peace to this attraction. Hollywood Rip Ride, Rocket over. Oh, man. Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure.
[00:06:43] Speaker B: Veronica Hagrids all the Way. I finally got through Hagrids all the Way.
[00:06:50] Speaker A: Brooks, how about you, my friend?
[00:06:53] Speaker D: Were the two choices a Hagrid.
[00:06:55] Speaker A: Oh, Hollywood Rip Ride Rock or Hagrid's?
[00:06:58] Speaker D: Hagrids.
[00:06:58] Speaker E: Christy Hagrid's.
[00:07:02] Speaker A: Steph Hagrids. Hagrid's is. You know what, Rest in peace Rocket. But I am happy it is leaving us.
Nobody likes that. Straight up climb to begin. Here we go. I think that was the first ride.
[00:07:16] Speaker D: I wrote after my princess half marathon.
[00:07:19] Speaker A: Really? What song did you choose? Do you remember?
[00:07:22] Speaker D: I did not. I think it randomly chose because I was trying to get to the secret menu.
[00:07:26] Speaker A: It can be a pain to get to the secret menus. Okay, here we go. We got Star Tours. The adventure continues versus a classic. It's the It's a Small World after all.
Star or Star Tours, the adventure continues or It's a Small World.
[00:07:46] Speaker C: Just for clarity. We are talking about Magic Kingdoms. It's a Small World. Correct.
[00:07:50] Speaker A: We are talking about Magic Kingdoms. It's a Small World. And we are talking about Hollywood Studios current version of Star Tours.
[00:07:59] Speaker C: You know, I'm really craving some Pinocchio house right now. Just gonna throw that one out there and overlooking It's a Small World.
That sounds really good right now.
[00:08:10] Speaker D: Can we just be back in Disney together, guys?
[00:08:12] Speaker C: Yes. Yes, yes.
[00:08:16] Speaker D: Or in a universe.
[00:08:17] Speaker E: Not even in two months.
[00:08:19] Speaker D: Just.
[00:08:20] Speaker C: Yeah.
What I would give.
[00:08:24] Speaker A: What are you thinking?
[00:08:25] Speaker C: Star Tours.
[00:08:27] Speaker A: Star Tours it is, Christy.
[00:08:28] Speaker C: Only. Only. Only because it has so many different scenes now, including Ahsoka Tano, which I absolutely love. Like they have over 100. I think is different. Different storylines, which is a lot more.
[00:08:41] Speaker A: Randomized than it used to be.
[00:08:43] Speaker C: Yeah. So based on that. Yeah, I get a lot more excited for Star Tours nowadays, Christy.
[00:08:50] Speaker E: Yeah, that's a hard one. But I need to try to save a classic.
So I will say Small World.
[00:08:56] Speaker A: Veronica.
[00:08:57] Speaker B: Small World.
[00:08:58] Speaker D: Brooks, if you had asked me before my last trip, my answer would be different. But riding Small World with Ellie on my last trip and see the wonder in her eyes. I have to go with Small World.
[00:09:15] Speaker C: That was very touching, Brooks.
[00:09:17] Speaker D: And the six year old in me is wanting to kick my butt because that's when I started loving Star Wars.
[00:09:23] Speaker C: I'll kick it for you.
[00:09:26] Speaker A: That's okay because y'all are about to kick me on this one ET Adventure over dinosaur. Oh, yeah. All right, everybody, let's take a moment of silence for E.T. silence over.
Rest in peace, dinosaur. Brooks, give me an answer. I need an answer. Dinosaur.
[00:09:48] Speaker D: Always, always add a boy.
[00:09:51] Speaker C: Atta boy. You get a golden star. Dinosaur. Always dinosaur.
[00:09:55] Speaker A: Christy.
[00:09:56] Speaker E: Yeah, I gotta go with Dinosaur.
[00:09:58] Speaker A: Veronica, my airpod died.
[00:10:00] Speaker B: What was the other one? It was dinosaur. And what?
[00:10:03] Speaker A: E.T. e.T. Adventure.
[00:10:06] Speaker B: I'm going with E.T. i can't remember.
[00:10:09] Speaker A: Right. Well, I guess my second override will happen. So ET Adventure is moving on. Sorry, Brooks, Steph and Christy, goodbye to dinosaur. You are gone.
[00:10:20] Speaker D: So, Steph, are we starting our own thing?
[00:10:23] Speaker C: I just heard Goodbye to Senor Kelton is what I heard.
[00:10:26] Speaker A: So Masters might be looking for another podcast. I don't think I'm coming back after this one.
[00:10:32] Speaker C: You just over overrode Dinosaur.
[00:10:36] Speaker D: I did.
[00:10:36] Speaker A: Yes. The kept. The formula for ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise is no longer with us.
[00:10:41] Speaker D: And y'all okay for ET and giving me so much. So much grief over what I said about ET Earlier. Of course I'm. I'm not bringing it back up because I don't want people to fight me.
[00:10:54] Speaker B: But I love you too.
[00:10:56] Speaker A: That. I did not realize that one was gonna be a rough one.
[00:10:59] Speaker C: I am distraught. Okay. Distraught. I need a pint of ice cream. Help me recover.
[00:11:08] Speaker B: Disneyland had been different, but no.
[00:11:10] Speaker D: Okay, dude, don't. Don't bring that up.
[00:11:13] Speaker A: Don't bring that up.
[00:11:13] Speaker C: That's a great one, Great one. But no, I just love my dinosaurs. And I. I love it. I love my dinosaurs.
[00:11:21] Speaker A: Space Mountain at the Magic Kingdom or Pteranodon Flyers at Camp Jurassic and Islands of Adventure. Oh, because I have one more override and I am willing to use it.
[00:11:34] Speaker C: But your three overrides were for the entirety of the game.
[00:11:37] Speaker D: They are.
[00:11:37] Speaker C: You're gonna use them all for the first round?
[00:11:40] Speaker A: Are you willing?
[00:11:41] Speaker C: Maybe, maybe not. But I know how you feel about Toronto. Donna. Donna. Don. God bless you.
[00:11:52] Speaker A: Hey, Christy, what's happening here? We thinking Space Mountain or Pteranodon flyers?
[00:11:57] Speaker E: Space Mountain.
[00:11:58] Speaker A: Space Mountain. All right. Brooks, how about you?
[00:12:00] Speaker D: Space Mountain.
[00:12:02] Speaker A: Steph.
[00:12:03] Speaker C: Space.
[00:12:04] Speaker A: All right. Veronica.
[00:12:06] Speaker B: Space.
[00:12:08] Speaker D: I mean, Kelton. Doesn't matter what we put.
[00:12:11] Speaker A: It really doesn't. But Space Mountain is definitely moving on. Okay, I love Trinidad Flyers, but I'm not willing to use my other. My last override for it.
[00:12:20] Speaker D: Now, I will say I am looking forward to when Ellie is old enough riding Toronto.
[00:12:24] Speaker A: We might need to make that universal trip happen here shortly because I think Kenny is getting close to growing out of it. But we're moving on here. Muppet vision. A 3D or fast and Furious? Supercharged. Should be easy. Can I get a. Can I just get a group call here? What's Our answer?
[00:12:45] Speaker D: Muppet 3D.
[00:12:47] Speaker C: Muppets.
[00:12:48] Speaker E: Muppets.
[00:12:49] Speaker D: Kermit thee fork here.
Hello.
[00:12:52] Speaker C: Yeah, no questions.
[00:12:54] Speaker A: Nobody likes Fast Furious anyway. Here we go. If you do, I'm sorry. Tower of Terror or.
Ooh. Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. The Hollywood Tower Hotel or the Hogwarts Castle.
Now, remember, theming of the queue, theming of the attraction are all. All come into play on this one. Oh, it's tough. Does anybody have their pick in mind? Okay, Veronica, what you got?
[00:13:22] Speaker B: Tower of Terror.
[00:13:23] Speaker A: Tower of terror 34. Brooks.
[00:13:26] Speaker D: Tower of Terror is one of my favorites.
[00:13:30] Speaker A: Oh, and it's a good one too. Stephen.
[00:13:34] Speaker C: I'm going with Harry Potter.
[00:13:36] Speaker A: Forbidden Journey of two to one. Christy.
[00:13:39] Speaker E: Tower of Terror.
[00:13:40] Speaker A: Tower of Terror wipes them.
[00:13:42] Speaker D: Does it stay on the board?
[00:13:44] Speaker A: It does.
[00:13:45] Speaker D: Okay, Kelton, I'm curious. What would you have picked if it.
[00:13:49] Speaker A: Was tied Tower of Terror? Easily. I don't like spiders and I hate the dementor scene.
[00:13:55] Speaker C: I always close my eyes on the spiders.
[00:13:58] Speaker A: That's usually where the picture is, too. Or, yeah, the spider, I think it is.
[00:14:02] Speaker C: But everything else I love. I remember when I walked through that queue for the very first time. I was sobbing. I was sobbing. There's just. There was. There was no mercy.
That was incredible.
[00:14:15] Speaker A: This one's gonna be a tough one, y'all. This one I did move around and pick the Walt Disney World Railroad or the Hogwarts Express. Awkward silence.
[00:14:26] Speaker D: Hopefully you're a fan of trains, people.
[00:14:28] Speaker A: If you're just listening to us, we are here. Brooks, how about you? It's tough.
[00:14:32] Speaker D: Yeah, I'm gonna give.
[00:14:33] Speaker A: Five, four, three, two, one. I need an answer. Worth Express. Veronica.
Five, four.
[00:14:47] Speaker B: Walt Disney World three.
[00:14:49] Speaker A: Oh, tied one to one.
[00:14:52] Speaker E: Christy, I gotta go with Walt Disney.
[00:14:56] Speaker A: Railroad two to one.
Steph, coming down to you.
[00:15:03] Speaker C: Yeah. You will find me on the Lily Bell. I don't need a second a park ticket to get on the. On the express.
So that's a huge factor, if I'm being totally honest.
[00:15:16] Speaker A: I could see that.
[00:15:17] Speaker C: Plus, it's just it. But. But it. Walt's love of trains is the reason we have the parks in the first place. That is undisputed.
So the Lily Bell at Walt Disney World.
[00:15:30] Speaker A: The Walt Disney World Railroad. Moving on.
And as we continue here, we are over here thanking the Phoenicians on good old fashioned Spaceship Earth or the Men in Black Alien Attack. Two very different attractions. You either saving the world from aliens or out there thanking the Phoenicians.
What are we doing? Christy, what do you think?
[00:15:55] Speaker E: I'm gonna go with Spaceship Earth because I like the fact that it's a little bit of that edutainment that Walt wanted in Epcot, and it's still there and you don't see as much of it in Epcot like you used to.
[00:16:10] Speaker A: I think that. Yeah, that's great. That's perfect. Stephen.
[00:16:15] Speaker C: Spaceship Earth. Without a question in my mind, nothing. It's just duh.
[00:16:20] Speaker A: Brooks.
[00:16:21] Speaker D: Even though. Even though Men in Black is the superior shooting game over Buzz Lightyear. Spaceship Earth.
[00:16:27] Speaker A: All because you can pick the gun up and then move it around.
I'm all for it. Veronica.
[00:16:33] Speaker B: Spaceship Earth.
[00:16:34] Speaker A: Spaceship Earth moves it on the Q.
[00:16:36] Speaker D: And I would say. I won't say too. The queue in the Men in Black is cool too. Especially when you're in the headquarters.
[00:16:42] Speaker A: That's.
[00:16:42] Speaker D: That is really cool.
[00:16:44] Speaker A: I do like it.
[00:16:46] Speaker C: Yeah. Spaceship Earth. Q is. There's nothing. But the entire ride is very entertaining. There's a lot going on. I could be on that ride over and over again. Happily.
[00:16:57] Speaker E: And you get to smell Rome burning. I mean, come on.
That's the best.
[00:17:01] Speaker A: It's so good. They made it into a candle.
[00:17:04] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:17:05] Speaker A: Here we go. Remy's Ratatouille Adventure.
Or we're moving on to Storm Forest. Acceleration should be rather easy.
[00:17:14] Speaker D: Should we say it in unison?
[00:17:15] Speaker A: In unison. Here we go. One, two, three.
[00:17:18] Speaker D: Remy.
[00:17:18] Speaker C: Remy.
[00:17:19] Speaker E: Remy.
[00:17:20] Speaker A: Yes. Remy's it is. Good choice, everybody. Good job.
Under the Sea. Journey with the Little Mermaid over the Haunted Mansion.
[00:17:32] Speaker D: I'll go first. Haunted Mansion.
[00:17:34] Speaker A: Haunted Mansion. Steph.
[00:17:36] Speaker C: Haunted Mansion. All day, every day.
[00:17:39] Speaker A: Christine. Haunted Mansion. Haunted Mansion.
Veronica.
[00:17:43] Speaker B: Haunted Mansion.
[00:17:45] Speaker A: Wiping the board with the.
[00:17:47] Speaker D: I may have to cut that part out because Journey with the Little Mermaid is Kelsey's favorite rod.
[00:17:54] Speaker A: So good luck explaining that when this comes out.
[00:18:01] Speaker D: What was the answer? That it got cut out. What are you talking about?
[00:18:04] Speaker A: What happened?
So we got Mickey and Minnie Runaway Railway.
[00:18:10] Speaker D: Say that.
[00:18:11] Speaker A: Mickey and Minnie Runaway Railway. Who? I can't. Rock and Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith. Which one are you guys willing to get rid of?
We know what Disney's willing to get rid of. But what are you.
[00:18:23] Speaker D: Okay. They're not getting rid of it. They're just. They're getting rid of Aerosmith.
[00:18:26] Speaker A: So they're pretty much getting rid of it.
[00:18:28] Speaker D: The ride is still there.
[00:18:29] Speaker A: Veronica. What?
[00:18:30] Speaker B: You think Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway. All the way.
[00:18:34] Speaker A: All right. What about Brooks?
[00:18:37] Speaker D: Just because I. I love both Attractions. Just because I really miss the great movie ride, I'm gonna go over the rock and roller coaster.
[00:18:46] Speaker A: Very nice, Christy.
[00:18:48] Speaker E: Rock and Roller Coaster.
[00:18:50] Speaker A: Two to one, Steph.
[00:18:52] Speaker C: The only reason I'm going with Mickey and Minnie is because it's Mickey and Minnie.
[00:18:56] Speaker A: All valid reasons. But I'm sorry, Mickey Minnie is no more. We're going rock and roller coaster, baby. We're gonna walk away. Your ride didn't make it. I'm sorry.
[00:19:05] Speaker D: I will say, every time I have been on Runaway Railway, it has stopped for, like, five minutes in one part. Every time I've ridden it.
[00:19:15] Speaker A: Well, that's saddening.
[00:19:17] Speaker D: So.
[00:19:18] Speaker A: Well, here we are, down to the last one for round one.
[00:19:22] Speaker C: Holy cow.
[00:19:23] Speaker A: Only a despicable hour and 20 minion mayhem is moving on the Huda. What? Despicable Bee Minion Mayhem has the bye week.
[00:19:33] Speaker D: Okay, Google, what were we thinking?
[00:19:35] Speaker A: I know.
[00:19:37] Speaker C: I'm surprised Big Thunder Mountain didn't make it.
[00:19:41] Speaker D: Yeah, there were some. There were some excluded. Well, technically, it's not current.
[00:19:45] Speaker A: It did not make. I. I took the top. You know, there's, like, 34 attractions for each park. There was a list on Google for Universal and Disney, and I took the. What is it, like, the top 31 attractions. And I think Thunder Mountain was, like, 33.
[00:20:05] Speaker C: Weird. Where was the. The Teacups and Winnie the Pooh? I'm just baffled.
[00:20:11] Speaker D: I'm baffled I was even wearing a Winnie the Pooh shirt tonight.
[00:20:14] Speaker A: Shall we move on to round two?
[00:20:18] Speaker C: Buck Lightyear didn't make it.
Astro Blaster or Carousel of Progress?
[00:20:22] Speaker D: Yes, I was about to say Carousel of Progress. People.
[00:20:25] Speaker A: People Mover.
People.
[00:20:28] Speaker E: People Mover.
[00:20:29] Speaker D: Come on.
People Mover might have won the whole thing with us.
[00:20:33] Speaker C: I am unwell.
[00:20:35] Speaker A: I'm sorry.
[00:20:35] Speaker C: I'm unwell.
All right, let's get on with this.
[00:20:39] Speaker A: All right. Escape from Green Gods over. Expedition Everest. Oh, yeah, it's getting tough. Veronica. Talk to me, Everest. Talk to me. Talk to me. Everest it is. Christie.
[00:20:53] Speaker E: Everest.
[00:20:54] Speaker D: Rooks, I have to go with Green Gods. As much as I love Everest, Dev.
[00:21:00] Speaker C: I'm gonna go with Everest.
[00:21:01] Speaker A: That's really disheartening, y'all.
Everest. Moving on.
[00:21:05] Speaker D: Count. What would you have picked if it was Ty?
[00:21:07] Speaker A: Oh, Green Gots all the way.
[00:21:09] Speaker D: Okay, we're still friends. Okay.
[00:21:12] Speaker A: Yes, we are. Cat in the Hat or Popeye Bilge Rat. Bilge Rat Barges. Cat in the Hat.
[00:21:19] Speaker C: Oh, okay. Which Cat in the Hat? Where?
[00:21:23] Speaker A: What? The one at Universal.
[00:21:25] Speaker C: Spider Man.
[00:21:26] Speaker A: Universal. No.
Oh, Spider Man.
[00:21:31] Speaker D: Yeah, there were, like, three Dodger Seuss Rats.
[00:21:35] Speaker C: Yeah. I had. The next one was Spider Man.
[00:21:37] Speaker A: That's Spider Man. Spider man or Popeyes. Thank you. I wrote down the wrong number. Are you keeping track of me over there?
[00:21:45] Speaker C: Heck, yes, I am. I gotta figure out what the heck I'm deciding every time. This is not easy.
[00:21:51] Speaker A: So, Spider man or Popeyes?
[00:21:53] Speaker D: I'll go for a Spider Man.
[00:21:56] Speaker A: Steph.
[00:21:57] Speaker C: Spider Man.
[00:21:58] Speaker A: Christy, Popeye, Veronica.
[00:22:02] Speaker B: Spidey.
[00:22:03] Speaker A: I'm writing down Spider man this time, Stephen.
Okay. Rise of the Resistance or River Adventure Crusty?
[00:22:12] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:22:13] Speaker A: Oh, Brooks. Okay, we're starting with Brooks. Rise, Christy.
[00:22:16] Speaker E: Rise.
[00:22:18] Speaker A: Veronica.
[00:22:19] Speaker B: Rise.
[00:22:20] Speaker A: Steph, rise.
[00:22:22] Speaker C: Can we acknowledge that we call Rise of the Resistance? Not the Resistance.
The Rise. Not Rotr.
Rise.
[00:22:32] Speaker A: So, Steph, since you have it written down, would you like to, say the next one and one of these great attractions we're about to cut?
[00:22:42] Speaker C: Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind or Kilimanjaro's Safari.
That's what I have.
[00:22:49] Speaker A: Y'all are about to cut one great attraction. Are you willing to sacrifice Little Red like Disney did?
[00:22:58] Speaker C: Oh, no, that's dirty.
[00:23:00] Speaker A: That's dirty.
[00:23:01] Speaker C: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Leave Little Red out of this. No, no, no, no, no.
[00:23:07] Speaker A: Are you willing to do the same to do Little Red as dirty as Disney did? Veronica, Are you willing to do it?
[00:23:15] Speaker B: Unfortunately, yes.
[00:23:16] Speaker A: One vote for Guardians.
Christy.
[00:23:21] Speaker E: I'm gonna save the galaxy.
[00:23:24] Speaker D: The poacher's one. As Guardians staff.
[00:23:28] Speaker C: Guardians. Guardians. Let's just move on, please. This is just hard enough as it is. Let's not dwell. Let's not dwell.
[00:23:35] Speaker A: Well, in that case, unfortunately, Little Red is no more. Just like Disney did. So we're moving on with Guardians of the Galaxy.
[00:23:44] Speaker D: See, I'm afraid because you keep saying Little Red and I was called Little Red when I was a kid, so I'm scared.
[00:23:49] Speaker A: We're not getting ready here. We're just getting rid of the elephant. No more elephant.
[00:23:53] Speaker D: I would call that, too. Okay, moving on. Cut. Cut that. We're marking that.
[00:24:01] Speaker A: Smugglers run or, oh, deadly do right. Rips off. False.
[00:24:05] Speaker D: What was the first one?
[00:24:06] Speaker C: Millennium Falcon.
[00:24:06] Speaker D: Millennium, yeah.
[00:24:08] Speaker A: Smugglers run.
[00:24:09] Speaker D: Smugglers.
[00:24:10] Speaker A: Falcon. Falcon. Run, Falcon.
Run.
Falcon. Falcon. All right, here we go. The Incredible Hulk or Transformers? Everybody say it together.
[00:24:23] Speaker E: Hulk.
[00:24:25] Speaker A: Goodness. Carol, Suel or Peter Pan? Brooks.
[00:24:31] Speaker D: I'll pick Peter Pan for this one.
[00:24:34] Speaker A: You can pick whichever one you want. There's. There is just a random.
[00:24:37] Speaker D: If I had to choose between the two, I'll pick Peter Pan.
[00:24:40] Speaker A: Peter Pan. Veronica.
[00:24:41] Speaker E: Peter Pan.
[00:24:42] Speaker B: To Neverland.
[00:24:43] Speaker A: Off to Neverland. Christy said Peter Pan as well. Steph.
[00:24:46] Speaker E: Peter Pan.
[00:24:47] Speaker A: Peter Pan it is. That is number 47.
Moving right along. Here we go. Revenge of the Mummy or Kang and Kudos. No, that's not right.
That's supposed to be.
Not. 13, 17. Velocicoaster.
Oh, men in Black or Velocicoaster?
[00:25:10] Speaker D: Wait, Men in Black didn't make it.
[00:25:12] Speaker C: Yeah, it's Mummy.
[00:25:13] Speaker A: Revenge of the Mummy versus Velocicoaster. I can't read my own handwriting. Mummy or the Velocicoaster? Two great attractions.
[00:25:20] Speaker C: This is easy for me.
[00:25:22] Speaker A: Christy.
[00:25:23] Speaker E: Mummy.
[00:25:24] Speaker A: The Mummy. Veronica.
[00:25:27] Speaker B: Velocicoaster.
[00:25:28] Speaker A: It's a tough. It's a tough choice. Brooks, what do you think?
[00:25:31] Speaker D: And Velocicoaster.
[00:25:32] Speaker A: Staff.
[00:25:33] Speaker C: This is not tough. This is not. There's. There's been tough decisions. This one's not tough. Velocicoaster. I don't like that face, Calton. Just accept it.
[00:25:43] Speaker A: Don't tell me what to do.
But we'll move it on because it's supposed to be a great attraction. Velocicoaster. Moving on. Here we go to the other side. See this? This section moves fast. Hold on. Oh, yeah. Steph, what do you got for the next one?
[00:25:59] Speaker C: Flight of the Hippogriff or One Fish? Two Fish? Multi Fish? All the fish.
[00:26:04] Speaker A: Oh, so Flight of the Hippogriff are literally Dumbo? It's not dumbo, but it's Dr. Seuss. Steph, what do you got? What are you thinking?
[00:26:11] Speaker C: I got Flight of the Hippogriff.
[00:26:13] Speaker A: Flight of the Hippogriff. Christy.
[00:26:15] Speaker E: Flight.
[00:26:17] Speaker A: Veronica.
[00:26:19] Speaker B: Hippogriff.
[00:26:20] Speaker A: Brooksie.
[00:26:21] Speaker D: Hippogriff.
[00:26:22] Speaker A: All right, moving on.
Oh, Tron. Or Seven Dwarves. Veronica, what you got?
[00:26:31] Speaker B: Choose wisely, Brooks.
[00:26:34] Speaker D: Tron.
[00:26:36] Speaker A: Christy.
[00:26:37] Speaker E: Tron.
[00:26:38] Speaker A: Steph, make sure to mark that down correctly, please, because I apparently cannot.
Hagrid's Motorbike, Adventure or It's a Small World. Hagrid's Veronica.
[00:26:52] Speaker B: Has to be Hagrid's step.
[00:26:55] Speaker A: Hagrid's Christy.
[00:26:58] Speaker E: Small World.
[00:27:01] Speaker C: I'm glad someone did justice for Small World, because I love It's a Small World. Now, I'll say this. If it was just A Small World in Disneyland, I would have hesitated a lot more. That's all I gotta say.
[00:27:14] Speaker A: Yeah, I get that. Let's see what kind of hesitation we get on this one. We're talking E.T. adventure or Space Mountain.
[00:27:22] Speaker C: Steph, Space Mountain.
[00:27:24] Speaker A: Brooks.
[00:27:25] Speaker D: E.T.
[00:27:26] Speaker A: Christy.
[00:27:27] Speaker E: Space Mountain.
[00:27:29] Speaker A: Veronica, you know what Space Mountain has Or ET has that Space Mountain does not your override. You know, there's two things that space that ET has that space Mountain does not. Well, my override being number one. Number two is the fact that ET Says your name when you exit off the attraction.
[00:27:47] Speaker E: Ah, that's true.
[00:27:50] Speaker A: Goodbye, space. Just don't put your hands up when you're on the attraction. Here we go. Muppet Vision 3D or Tower of Terror. By the way, that was all three of my overrides, so whatever wins, wins.
[00:28:04] Speaker D: This one's hard.
[00:28:05] Speaker A: OR Mother Vision 3D. Tower of Terror.
[00:28:10] Speaker D: I'll go first. Tower. That one hurts.
[00:28:13] Speaker A: I'm actually very surprised with that answer from you, Brooks.
[00:28:16] Speaker D: It hurts. It really hurts. But Tower.
[00:28:19] Speaker A: Christy.
[00:28:20] Speaker D: And I'm going to sulk. Over here.
[00:28:22] Speaker E: Tower.
[00:28:24] Speaker A: Steph.
[00:28:25] Speaker C: Tower.
[00:28:26] Speaker A: Veronica.
[00:28:28] Speaker B: Tower.
[00:28:29] Speaker A: Not too bad.
The Walt Disney World Railroad or Spaceship Earth.
What original attractions are you willing to legit? Little Red?
[00:28:43] Speaker C: Oh, I don't know. Oh, I don't know. Oh, I don't know.
[00:28:46] Speaker D: Can we not make that a thing?
[00:28:50] Speaker A: I just. I don't know. I'll stop after this one.
The Walt Disney World Railroad or Spaceship Earth. What classic attraction are you willing to part with? And I'm willing to give you a couple of them. We could talk it out. What are we thinking here?
[00:29:05] Speaker D: I would just like to say this first. If you're not watching this on YouTube, what are you doing? Because the angst on our faces.
[00:29:15] Speaker A: Oh, it's all the action.
[00:29:16] Speaker C: Yes, all the action.
[00:29:18] Speaker A: So, okay, let's a hot second here. Walt Disney World Railroad, fantastic attraction. For those that don't call it an attraction, it is all the way around the Magic Kingdom, but also on the other side.
Spaceship Earth, a great attraction to escape the float of sun for just a little bit.
Smelling the burning of Rome, getting to see, you know, Apple Start up in a garage.
[00:29:47] Speaker C: Pretty sure seeing your future self could.
[00:29:49] Speaker A: See your future self. Pick your vacation destinations that you want to. They don't give you many options, but you can pick.
[00:29:55] Speaker D: Or if you have a little child with you, just whatever she hit on the screen.
[00:29:59] Speaker A: Christy, which one are you going to get rid of?
[00:30:03] Speaker E: Drop down.
I think I'm gonna have to save Spaceship Earth.
[00:30:08] Speaker A: Hurts, but it does. All of this is gonna hurt Veronica.
[00:30:12] Speaker B: That's who I'm gonna go. Spaceship Earth.
[00:30:14] Speaker A: Wow.
[00:30:16] Speaker B: When I was a kid and I saw the commercials, legit thought all of Epcot was just Spaceship Earth, so fifth grade me kind of got her mind blown.
[00:30:28] Speaker A: That's great, Steph.
[00:30:30] Speaker C: Shout out to fifth grade you, Veronica.
Yeah.
Wow.
[00:30:37] Speaker A: This one's gonna hurt.
[00:30:38] Speaker C: Not as bad as Guardians versus Safari, though. That was not. Okay.
We're going with Spaceship Earth.
I really could use a respite from the heat. Yeah.
[00:30:52] Speaker A: And you go backwards.
[00:30:54] Speaker C: Yeah. It's very relaxing.
[00:30:56] Speaker D: Well, I mean, we have to thank the Phoenicians every time.
So Spaceship Earth.
[00:31:03] Speaker A: So disappointed.
[00:31:03] Speaker D: I'm gonna have to curl myself in the ball here after.
[00:31:08] Speaker A: Yeah. This one hurts a lot more than the restaurant one, the table service one.
[00:31:12] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:31:13] Speaker A: Remy's Ratatouille Adventure or the Haunted Mansion.
Veronica.
[00:31:21] Speaker B: Mess this up.
[00:31:21] Speaker A: Talk to me.
[00:31:22] Speaker B: Haunted Mansion.
[00:31:24] Speaker A: Christy.
[00:31:24] Speaker E: Oh, man, I'm. I'm gonna.
[00:31:27] Speaker C: Oh, she's struggling here.
[00:31:29] Speaker E: I'm struggling.
[00:31:30] Speaker C: Struggling.
[00:31:33] Speaker A: Come on, give me an answer.
[00:31:34] Speaker E: I'mma go with Haunted Mansion.
[00:31:36] Speaker A: Haunted Mansion.
[00:31:37] Speaker D: Brooks, if I have to between the two. If I had to choose one, you do two, obviously. But if I have to choose one not to ever ride again.
So I could ride.
When I say Haunted Mansion, I could see myself not riding Remy when I'm in Epcot.
It hurts if I don't get to ride Haunted Mansion when I'm in Magic Kingdom stuff.
[00:32:08] Speaker C: Yeah, I agree. Not riding Haunted Mansion is distressful on my soul.
[00:32:14] Speaker D: It's like, did I even go to Magic Kingdom?
[00:32:16] Speaker C: Exactly. Yeah.
[00:32:18] Speaker D: Like, what am I doing here?
[00:32:19] Speaker A: But yet you're willing to dump Jungle Cruise. Okay, I see where my friends are. Rock and Roller Coaster over Despicable Me.
[00:32:28] Speaker D: I'll go first. Rock and Roller Coaster.
[00:32:30] Speaker A: Steph.
[00:32:31] Speaker C: Rock and Roller Coaster.
[00:32:32] Speaker A: Veronica.
[00:32:33] Speaker B: Rock and Roller Coaster.
[00:32:35] Speaker A: Rnrc. There we go. Christie.
[00:32:37] Speaker E: Rock and Roller Coaster.
[00:32:38] Speaker A: Yeah.
Redemption has been made.
[00:32:43] Speaker D: I'll just say. Am I the only one that's actually excited about the Muppets going over Rock and Roller Coaster? Yes, I think it'll be good.
[00:32:50] Speaker B: Although I don't.
[00:32:51] Speaker C: As long as my coaster stays the same.
[00:32:54] Speaker B: Jerks my head around too much. So I'll give it a go. But it still does that. No.
[00:33:00] Speaker A: Well, certainly should have been Power Line, but I'll just.
[00:33:03] Speaker D: Yeah, it should have been Power Line.
[00:33:05] Speaker C: I agree.
[00:33:06] Speaker D: Always. It should always be Power Line.
[00:33:08] Speaker A: Oh, and speaking of the Muppets, we're moving right along here to Expedition Everest or Spider Man.
[00:33:15] Speaker D: So we're in round three now.
[00:33:17] Speaker A: We are round three, so we're in the sweet 16.
Veronica. What you got?
[00:33:24] Speaker B: Everest.
[00:33:25] Speaker A: Spider Man.
[00:33:27] Speaker B: Everest.
[00:33:27] Speaker A: Everest. Brooks.
[00:33:29] Speaker D: Everest.
[00:33:30] Speaker A: Steph.
[00:33:32] Speaker C: Everest.
[00:33:33] Speaker A: Christy.
[00:33:34] Speaker E: Everest.
[00:33:35] Speaker A: All right.
Oh, man. Star Wars Rise of the Resistance or Guardians of the Galaxy.
[00:33:45] Speaker B: How you gonna do that? That's terrible. Terrible.
[00:33:49] Speaker D: I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go at least.
[00:33:53] Speaker A: Negative. Not this round.
[00:33:56] Speaker C: I don't know what to do with myself right now. I've got goosebumps on my arms and my Legs.
[00:34:01] Speaker D: I need my thinking cap.
[00:34:04] Speaker A: I hope that's help helping you, Brooks.
[00:34:06] Speaker D: It's not. It's not.
[00:34:07] Speaker A: Oh, boy.
[00:34:09] Speaker C: Where did you get that?
[00:34:11] Speaker D: Ellie. Of course.
[00:34:13] Speaker A: I was hoping it was not like another bachelorette party in Nashville. Veronica, what are your thoughts?
Gotta pick one of these choices. One of them is dying.
[00:34:25] Speaker B: That's my thoughts. But I'm gonna have to go.
[00:34:27] Speaker C: Guardian.
[00:34:28] Speaker A: See, I didn't use a little red comment.
Guardians. Oh, dear. Brooks.
Five.
[00:34:36] Speaker D: Pass.
[00:34:37] Speaker A: Four, Three.
[00:34:39] Speaker C: No, no, please. Leave it on. People want to see this. Brooks.
[00:34:43] Speaker A: 1. I need an answer. I need an answer. Say it.
[00:34:47] Speaker D: It hurts. It hurts. It runs.
[00:34:49] Speaker A: So what do we get? Are we two for rides?
[00:34:51] Speaker D: I need. I need a plateau.
[00:34:53] Speaker C: One and one.
[00:34:55] Speaker D: Tums.
[00:34:56] Speaker E: Yeah. I'm gonna. I'm going back to the first time I rode both. And which one blew me away more? The first time I wrote it.
And I got to say. Rise.
[00:35:08] Speaker A: Two to one, Steph.
[00:35:10] Speaker C: Guardians, please forgive me.
[00:35:12] Speaker A: Really.
[00:35:12] Speaker C: Guardians.
[00:35:13] Speaker E: Down to you, Kelton.
[00:35:14] Speaker A: I'm going to be. You know, that's. Honestly, that's an easy one for me if we got Guardians. Moving on. Goodbye, Rise.
[00:35:20] Speaker C: Glad that did not come down to me.
[00:35:22] Speaker A: That's no skin off my back. I have no soul to begin with. Here we go.
I love my Star wars, but Smugglers Run.
Or Hulk. Marvel or Star Wars.
[00:35:37] Speaker C: When you put it like that, it's kind of obvious for me.
[00:35:40] Speaker A: But we're not talking about that. We're talking about attractions.
[00:35:44] Speaker C: Then it's not so easy.
[00:35:47] Speaker D: I'll go.
[00:35:47] Speaker A: Both are great attractions.
[00:35:49] Speaker D: I'll go first. Smugglers Run.
[00:35:51] Speaker A: Smugglers Run.
We got one for Smugglers Run. Both great attractions, very different attractions. One being a roller coaster, one being. Not really sure what you classify that as.
[00:36:03] Speaker D: Simulator. So a flight simulator.
[00:36:07] Speaker A: I could go with Flight simulator. Veronica, what are your thoughts?
[00:36:11] Speaker B: I'm going with Veronica.
[00:36:12] Speaker A: I need something one to one. Christy.
[00:36:15] Speaker E: Smugglers.
[00:36:16] Speaker A: Steph. Two to one. I am willing to shut both Star wars down. Right now.
[00:36:21] Speaker C: Millennium Falcon.
[00:36:23] Speaker A: Falcon is moving it on.
[00:36:26] Speaker D: Would you have chosen Kelton?
[00:36:28] Speaker A: Personally, I probably would have gone the Hulk. But I do like Smuggler's Run. Has a soft spot because of that Falcon. Yeah, I love the Falcon.
[00:36:35] Speaker C: I had a lot of funny moments on that ride.
[00:36:39] Speaker A: Brooks, you and I had a good time on that one.
[00:36:41] Speaker D: We did.
[00:36:42] Speaker A: Here we go. Peter Pan's Flight or Velocicoaster.
[00:36:46] Speaker C: Oh, my gosh.
[00:36:48] Speaker B: Kill my soul.
[00:36:50] Speaker D: But this is the easiest choice for me of this round.
[00:36:53] Speaker A: Brooks, Go ahead.
[00:36:54] Speaker D: Velocicoaster.
[00:36:55] Speaker A: All right. One for the velocicoaster. Number 40 19.
[00:37:01] Speaker E: Christy, I cannot get rid of Peter Pan. So it's Peter Pan.
[00:37:05] Speaker A: One to one.
[00:37:06] Speaker C: Steph, I have to go. Velocicoaster. That's one of the best coasters I've ever been on.
[00:37:11] Speaker A: Two to one. Veronica, are you willing to dump an original attraction?
[00:37:14] Speaker B: Please forgive me, Walt. Velocicoaster. I had bruises on the back of my legs from it. I am so worth it.
[00:37:24] Speaker A: I am so thankful I did not have to make that decision.
[00:37:28] Speaker D: Kelton, what would you have chosen?
[00:37:30] Speaker A: Oh, Velocicoaster, Light of the Hippogriff or Tron?
[00:37:36] Speaker C: I'm okay on this one. I'm okay with getting rid of Hippogriff. Tron.
[00:37:40] Speaker A: Christy.
[00:37:41] Speaker E: Drawn.
[00:37:42] Speaker A: Veronica Brooks.
[00:37:46] Speaker D: Drawn.
[00:37:48] Speaker A: All right, here we go. Hagrid's Motorbike or ET Y'all. William to yet again, Little Red. An original opening day attraction. The same attraction that says your name when you get off and goes nice and slow and tells you to ET Phone home. Come on, you're on a bike, Steph.
[00:38:06] Speaker C: Technically, you're on a bike in the other one too.
If you really on a motorbike.
[00:38:14] Speaker A: Sorry, bicycle.
[00:38:17] Speaker C: I'm going Hagrid. Sorry, Carlton. Don't hate me.
[00:38:20] Speaker E: E.T.
[00:38:21] Speaker A: Brooks, we're one to one.
[00:38:22] Speaker D: As much as I love E.T.
[00:38:24] Speaker A: Hagrid'S Veronica, Hagrids is moving on.
[00:38:30] Speaker D: I was really hoping that ET And Peter Pan went head to head. I was hoping for that matchup.
It just wasn't in the bracket.
[00:38:40] Speaker A: Sorry to hear because you all are gonna have a fit on this one. Tower of Terror. Spaceship Earth. I love my job sometimes. Steph, give me an answer. Five, four. You've had it in a furniture the whole time. Oh, wow. Christy, Space of Birth. Veronica.
[00:38:57] Speaker B: Tower of Terror.
[00:38:57] Speaker A: Five Brooks two to one. Five, four.
[00:39:02] Speaker D: Tower.
[00:39:03] Speaker A: Three.
Nice, y'all. We're going Tower of Terror.
Spaceship Earth.
[00:39:10] Speaker D: Is that hurt about as much as Kilimanjaro Safari?
[00:39:13] Speaker C: Not still. Is the one that's hurt the most? I gotta be honest. That's. That was just not right. That. That was just brutal. There's just no.
[00:39:21] Speaker D: That one hurt. Jungle Cruise hurt.
[00:39:24] Speaker A: If you think. If you think we're wrong, tell us in the comments. And what would you pick?
[00:39:29] Speaker D: Well, I'm ready for all the negative comments about my. How we're going to defend our stuff about Peter Pan.
[00:39:37] Speaker A: Haunted Mansion or Rock and Roller Coaster? Brooks, give me an answer. Haunted Mansion. Rock and Roller Coaster. Five, four.
[00:39:45] Speaker D: Haunted Mansion.
[00:39:47] Speaker A: Veronica.
[00:39:48] Speaker B: Haunted Mansion.
[00:39:49] Speaker A: Christie.
[00:39:50] Speaker E: Haunted Mansion.
[00:39:52] Speaker A: Death.
[00:39:52] Speaker C: Haunted Mansion.
[00:39:53] Speaker A: Haunted Mansion. Hands down, it is moving right along.
[00:39:57] Speaker C: This is the Round I'm afraid of.
[00:39:59] Speaker E: Yeah.
[00:40:00] Speaker A: Yeah, it is.
[00:40:01] Speaker C: This is the round I'm afraid of.
[00:40:03] Speaker D: We in the Elite 8 or Final 4?
[00:40:06] Speaker A: Elite 8 expedition. Everest or Guardians? Steph.
[00:40:10] Speaker C: Guardians.
[00:40:11] Speaker A: Christy?
[00:40:12] Speaker E: Guardians.
[00:40:13] Speaker A: Veronica.
[00:40:15] Speaker B: Guardians.
[00:40:16] Speaker A: Brooks.
[00:40:16] Speaker D: I'm getting an ulcer. Guardians.
[00:40:18] Speaker A: Nice. Steph. Steph. By the way, Casey just finished her book.
[00:40:22] Speaker C: Did she really?
[00:40:23] Speaker A: Yep.
[00:40:24] Speaker C: Oh, man.
[00:40:25] Speaker A: Moving right along here, Kelton, I want.
[00:40:28] Speaker D: To know what you would have picked.
[00:40:31] Speaker A: Between Guardians or Everest. Everest.
I would have gone Guardians. Yeah. It has a soundtrack. Smuggler's Run or Velocicoaster? Jurassic Park. Jurassic World or Star Wars?
Steph, you said you please don't like that.
[00:40:53] Speaker C: Yeah, no. Just shoot me in the heart with.
[00:40:56] Speaker A: An arrow or Star Wars Velocity.
[00:40:59] Speaker C: That ride is epic.
[00:41:01] Speaker A: You're willing to spare no expense.
[00:41:03] Speaker C: That ride is that good. That ride is that good.
[00:41:07] Speaker A: Over going into the Millennium Falcon and getting to sit at the same table.
That chewy.
[00:41:13] Speaker C: That ride is that good. That ride is that good.
[00:41:17] Speaker A: Christy.
[00:41:18] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:41:18] Speaker E: I'm gonna go with Velocicoaster for this one.
[00:41:20] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:41:21] Speaker A: Two to zero. Veronica Brooks.
Come on. Five, four, three, two.
[00:41:29] Speaker D: Because of my love of the franchise smugglers, Velocicoaster.
[00:41:33] Speaker A: Moving on. I.
[00:41:36] Speaker D: And I feel like I had to make that. I had to get. I could not let Star wars have a. Not have a sweep on it.
[00:41:44] Speaker C: Take a moment. You deserve it. That was not an easy decision, my friend.
[00:41:48] Speaker D: And I'm out of coffee. What am I going to do with myself? I need my emotional support.
[00:41:52] Speaker A: Well, I'll tell you what we're going to do.
We're going to choose between Tron or Hagrid's Motorbike Adventure.
[00:42:01] Speaker D: I'm better with this one.
[00:42:02] Speaker A: Hagrid's Veronica. Hagrid's Christy. Two to zero, Steph.
[00:42:08] Speaker E: Tron.
[00:42:09] Speaker C: Tron.
[00:42:09] Speaker A: I haven't ridden Hagrid's before, so Tron's moving on. Oh, my God. Hagrids.
[00:42:14] Speaker C: Oh, my gosh. I can't believe I just voted for Tron.
[00:42:18] Speaker D: Yes, I am. No, no, no, no. I. I'm saying this right now. Hagrid is the best roller coaster I have ridden, bar none.
[00:42:27] Speaker C: So that's how I feel about Velocicoaster. This. That. That's how I feel about Velocicoaster.
[00:42:32] Speaker D: Tron. Tron is a fantastic ride. It is too short.
[00:42:36] Speaker C: It is too short.
[00:42:38] Speaker A: So it is too short.
[00:42:39] Speaker C: I still get a thrill every time.
[00:42:41] Speaker A: Let's finish up our eight here. We're going Haunted Mansion, Tower of Terror. Brooks, what do you got? Haunted Mansion, Tower of Terror. Tower of Terror. Tower Of Terror. Crystal.
[00:42:52] Speaker E: Tower of Terror.
Haunted Mansion.
[00:42:56] Speaker A: Steph.
[00:42:57] Speaker C: Haunted Mansion.
[00:42:58] Speaker A: Veronica.
Oh, wow.
Okay, now we're moving into our final four here, and I do want to do a quick check in here real quick. The last four, and this is in no particular order.
Tron.
Velocicoaster.
Haunted Mansion. Guardians. How are we feeling?
Final four.
We're going to crown what the Mouse Ears podcast thinks by elimination is the best attraction between Disney and Universal. Y'all, this is tight. I hope you guys are ready, because I sure as heck am. Let's go. So we're talking Guardians over or. Or Velocicoaster?
Which one Steph is the better attraction? Guardians. Nope. Yep. Hold on. Guardians or Velocicoaster?
[00:43:56] Speaker C: I can't do this.
[00:43:57] Speaker A: Oh, yes, you can. You got to give me an answer. 5, 4. Pick an attraction.
[00:44:02] Speaker C: I'm so stressed out.
[00:44:04] Speaker A: 2. This is so much fun.
[00:44:06] Speaker C: Velocicoaster.
[00:44:07] Speaker A: Velocico.
Veronica.
[00:44:11] Speaker C: I'm not okay. Oh, my gosh.
[00:44:12] Speaker A: I'm not okay. Velocicoaster. Five, four.
[00:44:15] Speaker B: Guardians.
[00:44:16] Speaker A: Three.
[00:44:17] Speaker B: Rewritability.
[00:44:18] Speaker A: Oh, we are one to one for rewritability.
Ghost Pops. Christy.
[00:44:26] Speaker E: Guardians.
[00:44:28] Speaker A: Two to one. Brooks. Guardians of Velocicoaster.
[00:44:31] Speaker D: Velocicoaster.
[00:44:32] Speaker C: Brooks looks like he just had a beating. A beating?
[00:44:35] Speaker A: Way to make me pick. That's nice.
[00:44:37] Speaker C: Soccer with us.
[00:44:39] Speaker D: 5, 4, 3, 2.
[00:44:43] Speaker A: Velocicoaster will move on.
Willing to dump Guardians.
[00:44:49] Speaker C: Oh, my. Lance.
[00:44:50] Speaker D: Well, there goes a galaxy.
[00:44:52] Speaker A: Yep. Gone.
[00:44:53] Speaker E: Yeah.
[00:44:54] Speaker A: No more cake. Toast. Tron or Haunted Mansion? Y'all look stressed.
[00:45:00] Speaker C: Stressed, anxious, traumatized.
[00:45:05] Speaker A: Christy, what are you picking?
Tron or Haunted Mansion? Veronica.
[00:45:10] Speaker B: Haunted Mansion.
[00:45:11] Speaker A: Tron or Haunted Mansion?
Brooks. Tron or Haunted Mansion?
[00:45:17] Speaker D: Haunted Mansion.
[00:45:18] Speaker A: Two to one, Steph. Tron or Haunted Man. Are you gonna vote for Tron again and regret it?
[00:45:26] Speaker C: No. This one was easier for me. Haunted Mansion.
[00:45:31] Speaker A: Haunted Mansion. Moving on. So we have our final two, and.
[00:45:35] Speaker C: They'Re so different, it's not even funny.
It's not even funny.
[00:45:40] Speaker A: From Universal Orlando's Islands of Adventure, we have the fantastic attraction of Jurassic World's Velocicoaster.
Or from the Magic Kingdom at Disney.
[00:45:55] Speaker C: World, can I ask a question?
[00:45:57] Speaker A: Haunted Mansion. Steph, what's your question?
[00:46:01] Speaker C: I want to know if.
If Tron didn't go through and Hagrid's did, and it was between Hagrid's and Haunted Mansion, what would Brooks pick? Wow.
[00:46:10] Speaker D: Again. Hagrid's. I'm.
I'm saying Hagrid's is the best ride I have been on.
[00:46:19] Speaker C: Well, there you have it.
[00:46:20] Speaker D: I Mean, it's not carousel of progress, but still.
[00:46:23] Speaker C: So I need help after this. I need a. I need a good dose of Disney vacation after this.
[00:46:29] Speaker D: I think it's interesting. I think it's interesting, too. We have Universal versus Disney.
[00:46:35] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:46:35] Speaker E: That is cool.
[00:46:36] Speaker A: So we have gone through 60 attractions. Well, we've really gone through 62 attractions.
And we have come down out of the process of elimination to the final two, one from each company.
Velocicoaster or the Haunted Mansion. This is a tough one. So we're going to take a second.
I'm going to ask you all your pick, gather our thoughts, but I want to. I'm curious to know why, you know, why did you make that pick? Would anybody like to go first?
[00:47:14] Speaker C: I can go first.
[00:47:16] Speaker A: Step. Step. You chose Haunted Mansion over Tron, but you also picked Tron a number a number of times before it has come down to Haunted Mansion or Velocicoaster. What are your thoughts? What are you going to pick?
[00:47:30] Speaker C: So between Velocicoaster and Haunted Mansion, you're.
[00:47:34] Speaker A: Voting for the number one attraction.
[00:47:36] Speaker C: Just going to roll in his grave for this one, but I'm voting for Velocicoaster.
And it is because, for me, that is the greatest roller coaster I have ever been on. Obviously, this is before I've been to Epic Universe, but that is the most thrilling ride ever.
I am not okay with this decision because Haunted Mansion, as we've mentioned, is one of those attractions where I can't go to Magic Kingdom without riding is a staple. It is a classic. Every single time. I feel like I'm looking at something different and having a good time, but Velocicoaster takes the cake. It is that great of a ride.
[00:48:30] Speaker A: So we have one vote for Velocicoaster. Would anybody like to go next?
[00:48:34] Speaker E: I'll go.
[00:48:35] Speaker A: Christy. Thank you.
[00:48:38] Speaker E: I'm going to vote for Haunted Mansion. I feel like the. The nostalgia, the history, the backstory, the.
The whole thing, the music, the theming, just. It's not a thrill ride, but it's just Walt. It's Disney. It's iconic, and you can go to Disneyland, and it's a little bit of a different version, but it's still Haunted Mansion. And you still feel. I don't know. It's just known, if that makes sense.
[00:49:13] Speaker A: So your vote. Haunted Mansion.
[00:49:15] Speaker E: Haunted Mansion.
[00:49:16] Speaker A: Tied one to one. Veronica, what are you thinking?
[00:49:19] Speaker B: I'm gonna go with Velocicoaster because it is epic and it breaks my soul, but I wrote it pretty much three times back to back, back In January, and I could have gone 4, 5, and 6.
[00:49:34] Speaker C: So you have. You have my support. You have my full support.
[00:49:40] Speaker A: Brooks, we're at a 2 and 1 standstill here. Do you need the. The pink cowboy hat again?
[00:49:46] Speaker C: Someone needs to give him an ice pack. His face is looking like the same color as his mic right now with just distress.
[00:49:52] Speaker A: Here comes the hat. He is the distress, ladies and gentlemen. He is worried. He is worried. Brooks, we're at a two in one velocico.
[00:50:01] Speaker C: The Sorting Hat.
[00:50:02] Speaker A: One vote being Haunted Mansion. What are you voting for, my friend?
[00:50:06] Speaker D: I know I'm going to need therapy after this episode.
[00:50:10] Speaker A: Well, welcome to the Monsters podcast.
[00:50:11] Speaker C: You're gonna need Disney.
[00:50:12] Speaker D: Or do I need Universal?
[00:50:14] Speaker A: Because I'm voting Velocicoaster, ladies and gentlemen, he just said he is voting for Velocicoaster.
[00:50:23] Speaker D: That hurt so much.
[00:50:25] Speaker C: Did Universal just beat Disney at something?
[00:50:28] Speaker A: Brooks, why did you vote Velocicoaster?
[00:50:31] Speaker D: As much as I love, we have.
[00:50:33] Speaker C: Made Walt so upset right now.
[00:50:35] Speaker D: As much.
I mean, you are wearing the Mickey shirt.
[00:50:43] Speaker E: That's right.
[00:50:46] Speaker B: You know what?
[00:50:48] Speaker C: Screw the rides.
[00:50:49] Speaker A: Casey wins. Yes.
I'm so sorry, Brooks.
[00:50:53] Speaker C: You were talking.
[00:50:54] Speaker D: As much as I love Haunted Mansion, there are other dune buggy type rides. I know there are also other roller coasters, but Velocicoaster is in a class of its own.
And if I couldn't have my Hagrids or my Guardians, I'll go with Velocicoaster.
[00:51:16] Speaker C: What would you pick, Hilton?
[00:51:18] Speaker A: I'd pick Velocicoaster easily over Haunted Mansion. No shame. Wow.
[00:51:24] Speaker C: That was. You know what? And I still think I feel like.
[00:51:27] Speaker D: I need a shower after this.
[00:51:28] Speaker C: I don't know why I. I still think that Guardians versus Safari or Flight of Passage versus Safari was ridiculous. Ridiculous.
Guardians versus Velocicoaster. Like, my soul has cracked.
[00:51:48] Speaker A: It hurts.
[00:51:49] Speaker C: There's no coming back from this. There's no coming back from this.
[00:51:52] Speaker A: Well, by the process of elimination, this podcast has voted that Velocicoaster is the best attraction between the two of them. Great job, ladies and gentlemen.
[00:52:03] Speaker D: And you know why? Because they spared no expense.
[00:52:07] Speaker C: This is true.
[00:52:08] Speaker A: That indeed. And I think as we come to a close here, we have a trivia question that we still have to go back to. Brooks, do you have that trivia question and answer for us once again?
[00:52:23] Speaker D: I do. I am pulling it up. And because throughout all this, I forgot that we still had that.
If you remember back in the trivia question, what was the first athletic event to be held at Disney's espn Wide World of Sports. Does anyone have a guess?
[00:52:47] Speaker A: Go for it, Brooks.
[00:52:49] Speaker D: And just wanted to clarify you, Kelton, you're the one that looked this up. You wrote a basketball game between the Atlanta Braves and the Cincinnati Reds in March 20, March of 1997.
[00:53:04] Speaker A: I was confused too, because last time I checked the Braves were a baseball team, not a basketball team.
[00:53:09] Speaker C: It was Reds again.
[00:53:10] Speaker D: Yeah, so it's the Cincinnati Reds, but they played a basketball game.
[00:53:16] Speaker A: It probably is a baseball game. Okay, but I'm just going off of what the the website said now. I don't trust that website anymore.
[00:53:27] Speaker C: Interesting.
[00:53:28] Speaker A: Probably a baseball game. Do you guys know what ESPN Wide World of Sports used to be called? Prior to ESPN Wide World of Sports, it was actually just called Wide World of Sports. Changed its name in 2010 to align with the rest of the company When.
[00:53:42] Speaker D: Disney bought it was a baseball game, not a basketball game.
[00:53:45] Speaker A: It was a baseball. Baseball game.
[00:53:47] Speaker E: I think the Atlanta Braves were stationed there, weren't they?
[00:53:51] Speaker A: That was their when they first opened spring training.
[00:53:53] Speaker D: Yeah, spring training for several years to.
[00:53:57] Speaker A: Like I think 2012. I think it was.
[00:53:59] Speaker D: I think later than that.
[00:54:02] Speaker A: It's. I think you're right. Yeah, I think it was a little bit later. Maybe 2017.
