Foreign welcome back to the Mouse Ears Podcast. I'm one of your co hosts, Kelton. I am back after a two week hiatus. It's been a busy couple. I know, I know, Brooks, I know. I'm excited to be back too. But I've got some great people with me and two faces you have not seen seen before on this podcast. So I'm going to introduce them first before we get to the other two fantastic people. But we have Veronica joining us for the first time. Veronica, hello and good evening.
[00:01:35] Speaker B: Hello.
[00:01:38] Speaker A: Fantastic. Don't be afraid that we also have Christy Ross in the house. Christy, hello. How are you?
[00:01:44] Speaker C: I'm good. How are you?
[00:01:46] Speaker A: I'm fantastic, I'm telling you. And then a couple other people that you have seen for seasons and episodes before.
Stephanie, hello. Welcome back as always.
[00:01:59] Speaker D: Hi, how are you?
[00:02:00] Speaker A: Oh, I'm fantastic. I'm trying to stay warm. I'm up here in Cleveland, Ohio right now and it's a little cold. I got a story to tell you after. But my man, my main man over in south, what is it? South town Cackalack. Is that how you say it?
[00:02:16] Speaker E: Chucktown. South Chucktown.
[00:02:18] Speaker A: Let's see.
[00:02:18] Speaker D: Doesn't matter how many times you hear it, we'll never get it.
[00:02:21] Speaker A: That's true. Brooks, welcome in.
[00:02:24] Speaker E: Howdy ho, neighbors. And howdy Kelton.
[00:02:27] Speaker C: All the hat.
[00:02:29] Speaker A: I cannot.
[00:02:29] Speaker E: Now would you say that Cleveland rocks?
[00:02:32] Speaker A: No, no, I wouldn't.
But here's my story though. So for those that are outside of the great state of Texas, Texas also has a Cleveland, Texas, which happens to be about 10 miles north of where I live. So when I've been checking the weather, I guess I've been selecting Cleveland, Texas on the weather app and I'm like, oh heck yeah. 85 and sunny. Perfect. No, absolutely. So I was in the that is.
[00:02:58] Speaker E: A negative Ghost Rider.
[00:02:59] Speaker A: It's a solid negative. So I was in the parking lot. I pull it up. I'm going, there's a Cleveland, Texas, and a Cleveland, Ohio. I should probably look at Cleveland, Ohio. And it says, I have 45 today. So I grabbed the only jacket I could out of my truck.
[00:03:15] Speaker E: It is what it looks. It looks great on you.
[00:03:17] Speaker A: You can barely see it. Yeah, I know.
[00:03:20] Speaker E: Like John Cena, he can't see you anyway.
[00:03:23] Speaker A: So you guys are probably wondering, why are we gathering here on this Thursday evening? Or if you're listening to us on a Monday morning, could be y'all know what's about to happen. We have trivia happening. So I'm going on over to Brooks to go over our trivia for this episode. Sticking with the sports theme, what was the first athletic event to be held at Disney's ESPN One Wide World of Sports? Stay tuned to the end of the episode to find out. And back to the host with the most, Kelton.
[00:04:42] Speaker A: Well, thank you, Brooks. And I'll even give extra points if you can tell us in the comments.
What was ESPN Wild World of Sports called prior to being called ESPN Wild World of Sports? But don't worry, the points don't matter. It's a lot like whose line is It Anyway? If you watch that show, call me dream.
[00:05:00] Speaker E: Everything's made up, don't matter.
[00:05:03] Speaker A: Except this is not made up. This is all true. Welcome, y'all, to our second annual March Madness episode. I'm happy to have you guys on. I hope you're ready because I. This is my first one because I missed the last one because I was at an iffy Zach Brown band concert. But we won't talk about that, will we? No, we won't.
[00:05:22] Speaker E: We're getting ready for March Madness because Basketball.
[00:05:27] Speaker A: Give me, give me, give me the ball because I'm gonna dun b.
[00:05:32] Speaker E: Basketball.
[00:05:33] Speaker A: Give me, give me, give me the ball because I'm gonna dunk it.
[00:05:41] Speaker E: Does he.
[00:05:41] Speaker D: Okay, that's going on TikTok.
[00:05:45] Speaker E: Does anyone know. First of all, does anyone know that song? That's from.
It's John Tesh's basketball theme for NBA on NBC back in, like, the 90s and 2000s and Saturday night Live did. So it's. The actual song is literally just the instrumental. And then Saturday Night Live did a skit a few years ago where the. When he supposedly. When he presented the song, it had lyrics, and those were the lyrics.
[00:06:18] Speaker A: That's what it was.
So the more you know.
[00:06:23] Speaker E: And now I think it was great. And it's stuck in every time I hear basketball that is stuck in my head now for the end of time.
[00:06:31] Speaker A: I love it.
[00:06:32] Speaker E: And hopefully it's stuck in your head now.
[00:06:33] Speaker A: Well, it definitely is.
I love some March Madness basketball. So. Yeah. Are you guys ready? Shall we do it?
[00:06:41] Speaker D: Yes, sir.
[00:06:43] Speaker E: So we don't even know the topic.
[00:06:45] Speaker A: No, we don't. But I'm going to tell you right now, I will say that, Brooks, prior to you having, you know, fixing your sound microphone issues there, everybody went through and rattled off what they thought this episode was on. And I will have to give it to Steph. It is on attractions this year.
[00:07:03] Speaker B: Wow.
[00:07:04] Speaker A: But no, it's a basketball game, not a baseball game.
[00:07:08] Speaker E: Okay.
[00:07:08] Speaker A: Oh, oh, never mind. We'll talk about that. I'll text you.
[00:07:12] Speaker E: Okay.
[00:07:12] Speaker A: I'm just getting your text messages that they pop up on the computer. Okay, here we go.
Okay. Does everybody know how a bracket works?
[00:07:19] Speaker E: No. Tell me, Kelton.
[00:07:20] Speaker A: Good. I'm glad you guys do, because I do not. So we're gonna go ahead and dive in here. I'm more of a, you know, non sports guy, but. So we're gonna go through. For those that are on watching us on YouTube, here's the bracket. If you're not watching us on YouTube.
[00:07:35] Speaker D: What are you doing?
[00:07:36] Speaker A: You should be. Yeah.
[00:07:37] Speaker E: So really should.
[00:07:38] Speaker A: There's our bracket right there. It has a whole bunch of numbers on it. Because I was not gonna give the secret away. Gosh, no.
So here's what we're gonna do. A little bit like college basketball, but not really. So I'm going to give you the name of two attractions, and we're going to go around the room and we're going to discuss what you think would overtake the other attraction.
No hard feelings here. So if you pick the teacups over Space Mountain, I'm not going to hate you. I may figure what's wrong with you, but I'm not going to hate you.
[00:08:15] Speaker E: So it'll be okay.
[00:08:17] Speaker A: You know, people have vertigo. I get it. It'll be just fun. And I'm gonna write them down and we're gonna figure out why some people.
[00:08:25] Speaker E: Like the Taste of Beverly. I mean, there's. Some people are crazy.
[00:08:28] Speaker A: Roki. Really? Who likes the Taste of the Beverly?
[00:08:31] Speaker D: Mike?
[00:08:32] Speaker E: I actually don't mind it.
[00:08:34] Speaker A: What is wrong with the tweet?
[00:08:36] Speaker E: Friend of the podcast, Peter Brookhart loves Beverly.
[00:08:40] Speaker D: No, I'll pass. That's a hard pass for me, Peter.
[00:08:43] Speaker A: Peter Brookhart also enjoys Halloween horror nights, so I don't trust him.
[00:08:48] Speaker E: Always tell people, try the Beverly. It's breathtaking.
[00:08:57] Speaker A: Let's get into it. Here we go.
So we are talking about attractions, but as you can tell, I did not give you or I did not specify what or where the attractions are.
Veronica, no yawning just yet. It's going to be a long one, so I hope you're ready. Here we go.
So we have to vote on. And Brooks, tell me if I'm doing this wrong because you hosted the last one. We need to pick as a group to figure out what is moving on. So the mo. Anyway, you guys got this figured out if you listen to the last one.
So our first attraction. Here we go. Navi River Journey over at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Fantastic attraction going up against Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts. As you can tell, this is a crossover.
[00:09:54] Speaker D: No, you. You're playing.
[00:09:56] Speaker A: I am playing very dirty. So tell me.
[00:10:00] Speaker D: Oh, no.
[00:10:00] Speaker E: Oh, my.
[00:10:01] Speaker A: What are we doing? Oh, dear.
[00:10:06] Speaker E: Call back to the first March Madness. I wore a light up cowboy hat. We never posted that video.
[00:10:14] Speaker A: We should.
[00:10:16] Speaker D: Yeah, we should.
[00:10:17] Speaker A: Anyway, maybe Thravi River Journey or Escape from Gringotts.
[00:10:21] Speaker D: Are we doing a good time limit?
[00:10:23] Speaker A: Well, yeah, we don't want this to be a three part episode. So, Steph, we'll start with you. What do you think? In Na'vi River Journey or Escape from Gringotts?
[00:10:31] Speaker D: Gringotts.
[00:10:32] Speaker A: Nice. Good choice, Christy.
[00:10:35] Speaker C: I'm going with Navi.
[00:10:37] Speaker A: All right then. Good choice. There we go. Veronica. We are tied one to one.
Brooks.
[00:10:44] Speaker E: Kelsey. I'm sorry. Gringotts.
[00:10:46] Speaker A: All right. Gringotts being the number one, it's honestly.
[00:10:49] Speaker D: Because Navi is just so short.
Because if it was longer, if I could experience it longer, I might not have.
[00:11:00] Speaker E: Correct me if I'm wrong, the animatronic has been down, hasn't it, for a while.
[00:11:04] Speaker D: Yeah, comes and goes. But I still think it's beautiful. I mean, I love Pandora and I love Avatar. But then Gringotts is very thrilling. It's unexpected, even. Like the queue.
Don't get me wrong, I do like the queue at Na'vi river, but Gringotts is. Just takes it up a notch more for me. And yeah, yeah, like, I would not do more than like, a 30 minute wait line for Navi, and that's still pushing it.
Green. God, I'd probably wait 45 minutes plus maybe an hour. Not really. But, like, that one's worth the wait is what I'm trying to say. That's my two cents.
[00:11:48] Speaker A: I get it. I get it. So Escape from Green Gods. Moving on. As a side note, if there's a tie, because there's four of you, I get to decide. So I have a lot of power, but I only get three. Three overrides, right, Brooks? Is that what it is?
[00:12:05] Speaker E: Well, that's what if I disagreed with the.
[00:12:08] Speaker A: I get three overrides.
[00:12:09] Speaker E: Yeah, if. Now, if there's a tie, then you are the deciding factor. That one doesn't count against your overrides.
[00:12:17] Speaker A: I'm glad you're here, Brooks. Help me keep this on. On roll, because you did the first one. Are you guys ready for the second set of attraction? Because there are a total of 62 of them on this list. We got a long way to go, so.
[00:12:29] Speaker E: We're ready, Steve.
[00:12:30] Speaker A: There we go.
I got to go down my list here because I got. Got them all here. Hold on. So we have Pirates of the Caribbean going up against. Ooh, Expedition Everest. Two very different attractions. Pirates of the Caribbean over in the Magic Kingdom versus Expedition Everest over at Disney's Animal Kingdom. We're going to switch it up here, and I'm going to start with Veronica first because she looks the most confused.
Not confused, but, like, sacrilegious.
[00:13:02] Speaker D: This is awful.
[00:13:04] Speaker A: It is.
[00:13:04] Speaker D: This is awful.
[00:13:05] Speaker A: Talk me. Talk me through it. What do you think of Veronica? I mean, two different attractions, you know, one's got a yeti, one's got an actual, you know, like, Johnny Depp. What are we feeling here? Go ahead.
[00:13:15] Speaker B: Are we. Which? Pirates of the Caribbean.
[00:13:19] Speaker A: The one in which.
[00:13:21] Speaker B: Okay, okay.
I don't think that helps.
[00:13:26] Speaker A: 5.
[00:13:26] Speaker B: Thought I'd try.
[00:13:27] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:13:28] Speaker B: Yeah, I'm gonna go Pirates.
[00:13:29] Speaker A: 3.
[00:13:29] Speaker B: Pirates.
[00:13:30] Speaker A: Pirates for the Caribbean. All right, I'm coming on down to Brooks next. Brooks, we got one for the Pirates of the Caribbean. It's pirates versus a yeti and Expedition Everest. What are you thinking?
[00:13:40] Speaker E: I'm gonna have to go with my disco Yeti, pal.
[00:13:43] Speaker A: All Right.
[00:13:45] Speaker E: You know, I like the, I do like pirates and definitely like the, the history and everything, but it's just something.
[00:13:56] Speaker A: About a disco Yeti.
[00:13:57] Speaker E: Yeah, it's something about disco Yeti and I've written it when the yeti was actually moving too. So my first, my second trip ever, he was actually still moving.
[00:14:08] Speaker A: Did you know the yeti actually has a name, has actual taste buds, I mean, to a point. And has its own fingerprint. The more, you know, going on over to Christy Ross. Christy, Pirates of the Caribbean or Expedition Everest.
[00:14:22] Speaker C: I'm going to go with Everest. I like the thrill of it and it's, it's an, it's a smooth coaster and it's. I think it's just clever how they did it. And then the whole Hue area and.
[00:14:34] Speaker A: The detail, I just Disney theming at its finest.
[00:14:38] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:14:38] Speaker A: And I mean, I'm not knocking Pirates of the Caribbean too. And they got as well.
[00:14:42] Speaker C: That's hard.
[00:14:44] Speaker A: So you're going Everest.
[00:14:45] Speaker C: I'm going with Everest.
[00:14:47] Speaker A: Oh, two for one, two for one. And you know, I mean, expiration. Everest does also, when you look at it from Google Maps, it does make a hidden Mickey. So we're going on over to Steph. Steph, are you going to tie it up or are we going to have Expedition Everest go for the win?
[00:15:03] Speaker D: You know, Animal Kingdom is my favorite park and Joe. Joe Rodey Road. However you say his last name, I like to say roadie. You know, he's. If I could meet anyone that's living right now, I definitely want to meet him.
But I'm going with the Pirate Water. Yeah, I'm going with the Pirate Water for a few reasons. One, obviously, you know, classic. Two, Pirate Water. I love my Pirate Water. Three, Johnny Depp. Hello. Just. Just Captain Jack Sparrow. Yes. And then my last reason is probably because it's more family friendly and anyone can go on it.
Love the Yeti.
I was afraid of it when I was younger. I love it now.
But that, like, for instance, Michael, he does really bad when it goes back. When it shoots you in the back, he doesn't do too well. So it's always like, okay, go on. And I enjoy it. But if I'm with him, I'm like, are you okay? Are you okay? Can I enjoy the ride?
So pirates.
[00:16:08] Speaker A: Don't worry. I'll make sure to call Mike after the episode and tell him you enjoy Johnny. Johnny Depp more than him. But. So that leaves it to me. And I guess we're going to take this one down to Expedition Everest. I'M sorry, guys. It's just, it's that much better of an attraction, I think. Plus as you're walking to it from. Oh, what is that like by Cali river rapids. You know where the, the little thing is? If you look at it, it matches the mountain. Look it up. Online sculpture. Yeah.
[00:16:36] Speaker E: It also has a single rider ride. You can get on very quickly.
[00:16:42] Speaker A: Two times. We did 30 minutes.
[00:16:44] Speaker E: Three times.
[00:16:44] Speaker D: That's amazing.
[00:16:45] Speaker E: Yeah, we could have done more.
[00:16:48] Speaker D: And for those that don't know, I want to say in the queue there are portions where people throw coins.
[00:16:57] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:16:57] Speaker D: All of those coins eventually get collected and actually do go to their conservation fund. So I do love that.
[00:17:06] Speaker A: Do you know that happens? They also collect them and It's a small world. And off of the buoys when you're taking the ferry.
[00:17:13] Speaker D: Really? I didn't know about the ferry. It's a small world. Makes sense. But I didn't know about the buoy, y'all.
[00:17:19] Speaker A: Hold on.
Expedition Everest, moving on. This next one is a true toss up.
We're going up the road there to Universal Orlando. We got Cat in the Hat attraction versus the Amazing Adventures of Spider man who has gone to Universal recently. All right, Veronica, we're going on over to you. What are you thinking?
That's a tough one.
You were just shocking the ever loving life out of me. Let's go on down to Brooks. We got one for the old Cat in the hat there. Little Dr. Seuss going on.
[00:18:01] Speaker E: Veronica, I don't know if we have matched at all yet.
[00:18:05] Speaker A: Oh, there's one for Spider Man.
[00:18:08] Speaker E: Yeah. So spoiler. I'm going for Spider man. But I'll, I want to take Ellie on the Cat in the Hat ride. And after taking her on it, my answer might change. But currently it's Cat in the Hat and I mean currently it's Spider Man. And to me it's amazing too how good that those 3D effects are still today. So because it was made what, in the late 90s, early 2000s, it was. I'm sure they've done some updates to it. But the fact that it's still that.
[00:18:44] Speaker A: Good today, both of them are fun attractions. I mean they really are.
So with one each tied up. Steph, what you telling us?
[00:18:55] Speaker D: Spider Man.
[00:18:56] Speaker A: Nice choice.
[00:18:57] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:18:58] Speaker A: Little Peter Parker action going on here. Now.
[00:19:01] Speaker E: Would you say you like Peter Parker more than Mike?
[00:19:04] Speaker D: No, not that one. But I just think it's a classic. I mean, I know Dr. Seuss is, but I don't know. I just. Islands of adventure. I've Always associated with, like, the Hulk, that Hulk statue, the Hulk island, you.
[00:19:21] Speaker A: Know, all that stuff. Yeah.
[00:19:23] Speaker D: It's just really. It stands out.
So, yeah, I don't think I really got to enjoy Seuss Landing all that much anyways, so Spider man for me.
[00:19:38] Speaker A: Well, that's not too bad. All right, Christy, we're sitting here. Two and one, two for Spider Man.
[00:19:46] Speaker C: What are we thinking with the Cat in the Hat? I mean, I'm a kindergarten teacher.
[00:19:50] Speaker A: Okay, that is valid.
No Cat in the Hat.
[00:19:55] Speaker C: Say less. I think it's just cool. It's. The whole thing is cool. And I just like that they. I don't know. They touched on that, and I don't know. It's a great place for the kids, and they know it, and I'm going with it.
[00:20:09] Speaker A: You know, you all bring up some very valid points.
[00:20:12] Speaker E: I will say, though, if you need, like, a vocal exercise, read Dr. Seuss books.
[00:20:18] Speaker C: Ugh. They go on forever.
[00:20:20] Speaker E: They go on forever. But then also, like, trying to. Trying to read Cat in the Hat when he's going through all the stuff that's happened in that house towards the end. If you try to do it without messing up, it's a good vocal exercise.
[00:20:33] Speaker A: You know, I really like that, Brooks. Oh, I just read to Kenny, like, last week at Cat in the Hat book, and I'm going, oh, my Gosh.
[00:20:42] Speaker E: That was 60 pages.
[00:20:45] Speaker A: Oh, no. Those he read. We read them in, like, four nights. I mean, I get 10 to 15 pages, and that's it.
Fortunately, Cat in the Hat, this is the end of the road for we're going. The Amazing Adventures of Spider man, since I get to call that. But that's okay, because we're moving on here to another two great attractions. Here we go. First one up is Popeye and Bluto's bilge rat barges.
Try to say that one three times fast. So it's almost like Cali river rapids, but for, you know, Universal Islands of Adventure going up against the Simpsons attraction at Universal Studios. I'm going to give you all a few seconds. Gather your thoughts.
Going. Why did we change to the Simpsons from Back to the Future? I don't know either. So, Steph, what are you thinking?
[00:21:39] Speaker D: Definitely the water ride.
[00:21:41] Speaker A: Fantastic. Yeah. Popeye and Bluto's. Okay, we got one vote for that.
[00:21:45] Speaker C: Christy, what do you think?
[00:21:47] Speaker A: Oh, boy. I'm liking where we're going on this one. Veronica, give us three. Zero.
Oh, baby. Wiping the board, Brooks, let's hear it.
[00:21:59] Speaker E: I've never ridden Popeyes, so.
[00:22:02] Speaker B: Me either.
[00:22:03] Speaker E: I have to Kelsey really liked the Simpsons. Kelsey liked the Simpsons. Rod.
[00:22:09] Speaker A: I remember a time when Doc and Marty were chasing Biff in the time machine. God, that was a great time in my life.
Then I got married. Moving on. Here we go.
[00:22:21] Speaker D: Honestly thought you were gonna say, I remember there was a time when we were friends.
Was before this question.
[00:22:28] Speaker E: Technically, I never gave my answer because it was already 3 0. So we're moving right along.
[00:22:33] Speaker A: No, so tell us.
[00:22:35] Speaker D: Really thought that's what you were gonna say.
[00:22:37] Speaker E: So ne. So next one. Kelton.
[00:22:39] Speaker A: No, I want to know the answer now.
So Kelsey likes the Simpsons. We're all waiting.
[00:22:45] Speaker E: I have to go with the one that I've ridden, so I have to say Simpsons.
[00:22:50] Speaker A: Sorry, Brooks. Simpsons is not going to cut it on this one.
[00:22:53] Speaker E: I mean, that's fine. That's fine with me.
It was like, if it was up against probably almost any other ride, it wouldn't have gone on anyway.
[00:23:01] Speaker A: So there's. I don't know. I just.
[00:23:04] Speaker D: I don't agree with Simpsons versus Fast and the Furious.
[00:23:08] Speaker A: Well, that one's rough.
[00:23:10] Speaker E: I might. I might would have chosen Fast and Furious.
Even though it's.
[00:23:15] Speaker A: I just don't agree with that whole land.
[00:23:18] Speaker D: Yeah, I've got. I've got opinions.
[00:23:22] Speaker A: For those who like it. Please don't.
Do not comment to us. Yeah, here we go.
[00:23:27] Speaker D: Don't come at us.
[00:23:28] Speaker A: Okay, moving to the next one. We're back. We got some good ones here. This one actually might be tough because I'm not sure where I'm gonna be. Here we go. Star Wars Rise of the Resistance. Going up against ye olde original the Jungle Cruise. I'll give you a few seconds because this one is gonna hurt my soul too.
[00:23:48] Speaker E: So. Rise of the Resistance versus Jungle Cruise.
[00:23:52] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:23:52] Speaker D: Rude.
[00:23:54] Speaker A: Steph, why are you throwing shade?
[00:23:56] Speaker D: Rude.
[00:23:57] Speaker E: It's just why you gotta.
[00:23:58] Speaker A: You know what?
We'll start with you. What are you thinking?
[00:24:02] Speaker D: Rise of the Resistance.
[00:24:04] Speaker A: Why?
[00:24:05] Speaker D: It is so awe inspiring. Like, I go in there and I'm just like. Every single time, my jaw is just like, I can't believe this is a ride. I mean, the size of those AT ATS and those cannons. It is.
It is freaking cool. Now, Jungle Cruise, that's just like a fun family. I'm gonna get my laughs in. And I'm gonna be obnoxious when I say it's the backside of water, you know?
[00:24:36] Speaker A: No, I'm sorry. I'm pretty sure it starts with it being the eighth wonder of the world.
[00:24:41] Speaker D: Correct.
Correct.
[00:24:44] Speaker A: It needs the proper introduction.
[00:24:45] Speaker D: When you talk about it, you're absolutely right about that.
[00:24:49] Speaker A: So, so you're saying the eighth wonder of the world being the backside of water, has no match to a life size atat?
[00:24:59] Speaker D: This is correct.
[00:25:00] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:25:00] Speaker D: This is correct.
[00:25:01] Speaker A: Well, now I know where you sit on my ranking, so let's move on over to Veronica.
Please help us out here.
I know.
[00:25:13] Speaker D: We also are talking about a ride that has like multiple portions to it. Like it is wrong.
[00:25:21] Speaker A: Well, I mean, Jungle Cruise has multiple portions. First you're in, you know, in the Amazon or the rain. What is it, the rainforest? Cause it rains 365 days a year, then the Amazon. And then you're in denial because you know, you know, it's just what it is.
[00:25:37] Speaker D: It goes on for Niles and Niles.
[00:25:39] Speaker E: And they have all my favorite plants, like that one.
[00:25:42] Speaker A: God, don't, don't forget the one down there.
[00:25:44] Speaker D: I really wish you guys could be skippers. That's all I gotta say.
[00:25:47] Speaker A: I would love it. Okay, Christy, what are your thoughts?
[00:25:51] Speaker C: You know, as much as Jungle Cruise.
[00:25:53] Speaker A: Is a classic, this is breaking my heart.
[00:25:56] Speaker C: And I mean, believe it or not, I can't believe I'm saying this because I'm not the world's biggest Star wars fan at all. Like, I had to watch them before we went on this, the trip in February. Well, last year, February. Because I didn't know what I was looking at. I was blown away.
It was amazing.
[00:26:15] Speaker D: I think it's a true testament. Even if you're not a Star wars fans, you can still be blown away.
[00:26:19] Speaker E: Yeah, I'm sorry. Rewind. Had to watch them.
[00:26:24] Speaker A: Yeah, I caught that too.
[00:26:26] Speaker C: I was told I had to watch them because I couldn't complain. Being there, not knowing what was going on and who was who.
[00:26:34] Speaker A: Yeah, hairy one.
[00:26:37] Speaker C: Yeah, that one. I know, I know. Like, you know the basics, but like, Ray's walking around, I'm like, now who. Who's Ray again? What's Ray's purpose? Like what she the good one or bad one?
[00:26:48] Speaker D: But I love it was questionable at one point.
[00:26:52] Speaker A: There was never a question.
[00:26:55] Speaker D: Did you know she was proud of.
[00:26:56] Speaker E: The eight people that you.
Spoiler.
[00:26:59] Speaker D: Wow. It's been years.
[00:27:01] Speaker E: Okay, so, Christy, what's your. What's your. Since I had to say mine.
[00:27:07] Speaker C: Oh, I'm Ryze. I'll take Ryze.
[00:27:09] Speaker A: What's yours? Brooks, remember, you're a dad.
[00:27:12] Speaker E: Since it also doesn't matter anyway, I'll put a vote for Jungle Cruise.
[00:27:17] Speaker A: No, but what, What? What is it really? What is it really? Come on.
[00:27:21] Speaker E: I mean, or I. I would have gone with RAs.
[00:27:24] Speaker A: So. So would I. I mean, there's no question about it. The technology behind Rise. I just like to pick at you guys a little bit.
[00:27:31] Speaker E: Yeah. But I feel like Jungle Cruise should have.
Should have had one voice, one chair turn.
[00:27:39] Speaker A: No, it has no chair turns on this one zero.
[00:27:43] Speaker D: This is the first one that we got all the same answer across the board.
[00:27:48] Speaker A: I can't believe we just cut out Jungle Cruise. That hurts my soul.
[00:27:51] Speaker D: It is really sad.
[00:27:52] Speaker E: You made the bracket.
[00:27:55] Speaker A: Google picked the order that goes in.
[00:27:59] Speaker E: And you could have changed it. I made audibles last year.
[00:28:06] Speaker A: There's some ones in here that I'm saving it for. Okay, moving on to the next one.
Oh, dear. Tiana's Bayou, AKA Splash Mountain. No, no, no, no. Rated off of Tiana's Bayou versus Jurassic Park's river adventure over an islands of adventure. I'll give you a second. And Brooks, I'm coming to you, my friend. What you got?
[00:28:31] Speaker E: If we're going off of Tiana's, and this is with Princess and the Frog being one of my favorite Disney movies as a ride, Jurassic Park Rivers Adventure I think is better.
So I'm going with Jurassic park on that one.
[00:28:43] Speaker A: Spare no expense on this one, Veronica. What you got?
[00:28:46] Speaker B: Tiana?
[00:28:47] Speaker A: It's tough.
Interesting. Tied one to one. Both have really great drops. One has a dinosaur. Well, one has Mama Odie. Christy, how about you?
[00:28:58] Speaker C: I'm gonna go with Tiana.
[00:29:00] Speaker A: Oh, my goodness. Steph, what you got?
[00:29:04] Speaker D: I have like this ridiculous obsession with dinosaurs I love. If anyone really knows me, I have an obsession with dinosaurs. I will totally nerd out when it comes to that.
So any opportunity I can to vote for a dinosaur, I will vote for a dinosaur. Does that answer your question?
[00:29:26] Speaker A: And no. I need a verbal answer, please.
[00:29:28] Speaker E: Yes.
[00:29:30] Speaker D: Want the Jurassic Park Park World, whatever the name is.
Water ride. I don't even know what it's called.
[00:29:38] Speaker A: Jurassic Park River Adventure.
[00:29:41] Speaker D: That it's not the most friendly name.
I'll say that. No, I don't think it's a friendly name.
Like you don't say Tiana's Bayou Adventure. You say, hey, I'm going on Tiana's. Think about it.
[00:29:56] Speaker A: Okay, then you would say river Adventure.
[00:29:57] Speaker E: I'm going on the water. No, there's two. Two? You have to choose. Skeleton.
[00:30:03] Speaker A: Well, I wrote down already. We're going river Adventure. Thanks for keeping me on track, Brooks.
Somebody has.
[00:30:10] Speaker E: I'm surprised Tiana's has gone that fast.
[00:30:12] Speaker A: No. So for those that don't know, which is some people, when I worked at Universal. I actually had the chance one day to work River Adventure because I worked over in Camp Jurassic, so I got to wear the old, you know, Jurassic park logo and symbol. I love Jurassic Park. It's one of my favorite movies. The first one.
The third one is iffy.
[00:30:38] Speaker D: Yes.
[00:30:39] Speaker E: What about the second one?
[00:30:41] Speaker A: Oh, no, we don't talk about that. It's kind of like Bruno. Moving on. Here we go. Guardians of the Galaxy. Ooh, this is going to be tough. Guardians versus Soren staying in. Epcot wants to go first. Anybody? Anybody? Here we go. Christy, you look like you want to go first. What you got?
[00:31:02] Speaker C: Well, the first time I wrote Guardians made me sick, so I would have picked Soarin, except the next time I wrote it, I took the motion sickness medicine, and it was like a whole new experience.
I'm gonna go with Guardians.
[00:31:16] Speaker A: Might have to try that. Usually I just drink a margarita from Mexico, but.
[00:31:20] Speaker C: Oh, that would have sent me a bit, too.
[00:31:22] Speaker E: But that.
[00:31:22] Speaker C: That is my eyes.
[00:31:23] Speaker E: Everything I was gonna say that is a motion. That is type of medicine.
[00:31:29] Speaker A: Liquid courage is usually what they call it. Veronica, what you got for us?
[00:31:34] Speaker B: Definitely Guardians.
[00:31:36] Speaker A: Guardians of the Galaxy.
All right, Steph.
[00:31:41] Speaker D: My heart breaks for Soarin because I love the song.
Do, do, do whatever. I can't. I might even try.
[00:31:50] Speaker A: Why don't you let them sing it?
Sorry, I don't mean to be.
[00:31:54] Speaker D: And the. The smells are fantastic. Yeah, I really want to bottle a lot of those smells, but Guardians is just.
[00:32:04] Speaker E: It also depends, too, where you sit on Soarin, and you may have someone that has kicked off their flip flops and you have feet dangling in front of you.
[00:32:12] Speaker A: Just a bunch of feet.
[00:32:15] Speaker D: Guardians, though, for sure.
[00:32:17] Speaker A: A little bit of question coming down. Brooks. How about you, my friend?
[00:32:22] Speaker E: As much as I love the voice of Kronk and Soren and everything. Pete Wartenberg, Warten Bird. I think whatever.
Patrick.
Any him.
[00:32:37] Speaker A: Patrick.
[00:32:38] Speaker E: Yeah. Patrick. Yes.
Guardians is one of the two best roller coasters I've ever been on, so. Which I'm sure the other one is probably somewhere on this list, so.
[00:32:52] Speaker A: It probably is.
[00:32:54] Speaker E: I have to go with. Have to go with Guardians, plus also with the.
The read rideability of it, because you have a different ride with different songs.
[00:33:07] Speaker D: You have a different experience in different positions on the vehicles.
[00:33:13] Speaker E: And I will never forget going on it for the first time with Kelsey, her not realizing it was a roller coaster until right before we got on, and she was like, wait, this is in the simulator? I'm like, no, this.
Oh, you shouldn't have had Those nachos.
[00:33:36] Speaker D: Michael was freaking out about the backwards launch when he found out the first time we were on, and he was like. I'm like, you'll be fine. Don't think about it. He loves it. He absolutely loves it. But there was some speculation at the beginning.
[00:33:53] Speaker A: Well, there's no surprise there. Guardians of the Galaxy, moving on to round two.
This next one, we're going on over to Disney's Animal Kingdom for both of these attractions. I bet you can guess them. That's because we're talking about Avatar's Flight of Passage and Kilimanjaro Safari.
That's right. One of these great attractions is about to be eliminated, and we're going to do it. Here we go. Veronica, what you got?
[00:34:28] Speaker B: Oh, gosh.
You can't be seeing live animals. We're going to safari.
[00:34:37] Speaker A: You got to go in the safari.
[00:34:40] Speaker B: Yeah.
Sliding almost. You can't be. I mean. I mean, I love Avatar, but.
[00:34:49] Speaker D: Oh, this one just hurts deep in my. Deep in my soul. This was rough. No, this was just not fair. This is just not fair.
[00:34:56] Speaker A: And that's when I could have changed, and I chose to kept it this way. Keep it to kept it.
[00:35:01] Speaker D: We kept it. We kept it. Wow.
[00:35:04] Speaker A: Christy. Christy, what are you. Are we choosing Avatar.
[00:35:11] Speaker C: With the safari?
I think.
[00:35:14] Speaker A: Wow.
[00:35:14] Speaker C: I mean, I do. I do love the animals. That is really cool to see them out there. I do wish they would go back to the old story of the poachers, and you were trying to get away.
[00:35:24] Speaker A: From them a little red.
[00:35:26] Speaker C: I did like that a lot. But once again, that Flight of Passage, you can get just feel yuck on it.
So you have to be careful with that one. But it is pretty cool. But I'm gonna go with safari.
[00:35:43] Speaker A: We are 2 and 0 with the safari leading Senor Brooks, what are we doing?
[00:35:53] Speaker E: So I am basing. I was. I'm gonna say I'm basing my answer on if one had to leave and not be in the parks. That's how I'm basing my answer on. I love both of these rides.
And I had my first real sprinkle of Disney pixie dust on Flight of Passage.
I had lost because the first time we went, I could not fit on the ride. I was too big.
And about two years later, I had lost weight. I could finally fit on the ride. I told the cast member about it, and she sprinkled pixie dust and let me on the lightning lane line. Yes.
[00:36:37] Speaker C: Awesome.
[00:36:37] Speaker D: Shout out to cast members.
[00:36:39] Speaker E: Yes. That being said, if I had to choose one to be Gone forever. You have to keep safari.
So as great as flight of passage is, I have to keep safari, y'all.
[00:36:59] Speaker A: I'm actually surprised, Steph.
[00:37:02] Speaker D: This is as bad as picking between my children.
[00:37:06] Speaker A: There's always a favorite.
[00:37:09] Speaker D: This is just not fair. But flight of passage. And for the record, no one can mad me about safari because I love safari. This in no way, shape or form diminishes my love of safari. Please understand flight of passage, though.
[00:37:26] Speaker E: Joe, Rody, you heard it here first.
[00:37:27] Speaker D: That was rough.
That was sour.
[00:37:31] Speaker A: Sorry to do that to you, but we're moving on and it's going to be worse. Next one up. Millennium Falcon, Smuggler's Run, or the Living with the Land, non holiday version. The. The regular. A lot of things. Do you have the time?
I'm telling you, this one is going to be tough.
[00:37:52] Speaker E: Now, you specified non holiday version.
[00:37:55] Speaker A: I did. Gather your thoughts.
Channel your inner child.
Call your mother if you have to, because we're moving for some votes. Brooks, I'm starting with you.
[00:38:10] Speaker E: You did specify non holiday.
[00:38:15] Speaker A: I did.
Says it right here in my notes.
[00:38:18] Speaker E: Five hit. The fact that the first time I saw the Millennium Falcon, I cried. I'm going with Millennium Falcon.
[00:38:24] Speaker A: Smugglers run. Good.
[00:38:26] Speaker E: Come at me in the comments. I don't care. I cried whenever I saw it. I'm a grown man. I have a mustache and I cried.
[00:38:32] Speaker A: He does have a mustache. I can attest to that. Christy, how about you?
[00:38:38] Speaker C: I'm gonna go with the land.
[00:38:40] Speaker A: Oh, I love that land.
[00:38:42] Speaker C: I love that ride.
[00:38:43] Speaker A: Fantastic ride.
[00:38:44] Speaker E: I love it, too.
[00:38:44] Speaker C: I absolutely love it.
[00:38:45] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:38:46] Speaker D: Steph, I have no idea. This is awful.
[00:38:50] Speaker E: 4 Wish. Children, do you have three?
[00:38:53] Speaker D: We're going Millennium Falcon. We're going Millennium Falcon. Only because I love Star wars so much. But if you hadn't told me about. I can't pick living with the land at any point during the time a year because there's. It's not just holidays. They do other.
[00:39:09] Speaker A: And I did that seasonal stuff.
[00:39:11] Speaker D: I would have picked that one only because I love Millennium Falcon, but I would. I'm excited for new storylines that are coming.
[00:39:19] Speaker A: Oh, that's gonna be great. So we are up two to one.
Veronica, are you a Star wars fan?
[00:39:27] Speaker B: I am, but does your love.
[00:39:31] Speaker A: Living with the land?
[00:39:33] Speaker B: It does.
[00:39:34] Speaker E: Non holiday. Virgin holiday.
[00:39:37] Speaker B: I would have to go Millennium Falcon either way.
[00:39:39] Speaker A: Smugglers Run. Moving on. I, too, no longer have a mustache, but a grown man cried when I saw the Millennium Falcon, and then I cried harder when I got to sit at the chess table inside. Moving on.
[00:39:52] Speaker E: And Even harder when I got to.
[00:39:53] Speaker A: Be talking about my engineer as a child.
That's exactly. I know.
Okay.
[00:40:00] Speaker E: I mean if you have told me that after round one that Tiana's Jungle Cruise and Living with the Land and Soaring would all be gone.
[00:40:11] Speaker D: These are a hard like. These are hard.
[00:40:15] Speaker A: We have a whole nother side to go, this one. Here we go. The High in the sky Seuss Trolley versus Dudley DO Rides. Ripsaw Falls. Islands of Adventure. I'll give you a second. And the second is up start with Christy. Oh, I know two different attractions here on this one.
[00:40:39] Speaker C: I might go with the falls.
[00:40:41] Speaker A: Ripsaw Falls. I think that's a great choice there.
Nothing against highway in the sky, but let's go over to Steph. What you think falls as well?
[00:40:51] Speaker D: Oh yeah.
[00:40:52] Speaker A: Two. And. Oh.
[00:40:53] Speaker E: Veronica. Five.
[00:40:56] Speaker A: Oh.
Bringing it out.
Why Seuss Trolley over Ripsaw Falls?
[00:41:03] Speaker B: Probably because I don't think I've done Ripsaw Falls.
[00:41:07] Speaker A: And. And that's okay. That is a. Okay.
[00:41:11] Speaker D: It is actually kind of cute and cool.
[00:41:14] Speaker A: It is.
[00:41:15] Speaker D: I do like it. I do like it.
[00:41:17] Speaker A: Brooks, we're at a two in one here, my friend. Are you going to send the Ripsaw Falls off for the win? Are you going to tie it up with the Seuss Trolley?
[00:41:29] Speaker E: I have ridden neither of these rods.
I don't know if I.
[00:41:33] Speaker D: Do you want to get wet or not?
[00:41:36] Speaker E: I don't know.
Based on seeing the seats on the Deadly Do Rise, I will ever be small enough to ride that.
So I'm going to have to go.
[00:41:46] Speaker A: With the trolley and see Steph. I would have to disagree with your comment because you don't get wet. You get drenched on Ripsaw Falls. I mean, yes, you do. It does not matter if you wear a poncho or a full on rain suit. You're getting wet. We got good old fashioned Deadly Do Right Rips off falls. Moving on.
[00:42:07] Speaker D: That's the one you're going with?
[00:42:08] Speaker A: That's the one I'm going with.
[00:42:09] Speaker E: And correct me if I'm wrong. Is that the one that you can shoot the guests like you can shoot?
[00:42:15] Speaker A: It is.
[00:42:16] Speaker E: Okay.
[00:42:16] Speaker A: And that. That adds to it. Okay, moving right along.
Okay. We're talking a Slinky dog dash going up against. I gotta change pages here. Ooh, ooh.
The Incredible Hulk coaster.
Oh yeah. One of these fantastic attractions is about to be eliminated again.
[00:42:43] Speaker E: Google, I'm gonna need you like to switch these up a little bit because it's supposed to be like the harder choices later on.
[00:42:53] Speaker D: I feel like I'M being done dirty.
[00:42:55] Speaker E: Yeah, done cheap.
[00:42:57] Speaker A: That's what I was gonna say, Brooks. Yeah.
[00:42:59] Speaker D: I'm telling you. You know who's having fun here? Kelpie's having fun.
[00:43:03] Speaker A: I'm having a great time.
[00:43:03] Speaker D: He's watching a squirrel.
[00:43:06] Speaker A: I'm having a great time over here.
[00:43:08] Speaker D: Existential crisis over here.
[00:43:10] Speaker A: Your time's up. So, Brooks, I hope you got an answer, buddy, because I'm going to Steph or Steph. What you got?
Yeah, come on.
[00:43:19] Speaker D: I'm going for the Hulk.
[00:43:21] Speaker A: Oh, man.
[00:43:22] Speaker D: Yeah. And you know why?
Because of the queue. I just. It is. And I'm not saying that the Hulk is that much better, but there's a lot more shade there.
[00:43:34] Speaker A: I was wondering.
[00:43:35] Speaker D: That makes a big difference. And obviously the launches is fantastic. I do enjoy the launch.
[00:43:42] Speaker A: So, yeah, going with Hulk launch right into an inversion. And we're going over to Brooks.
[00:43:49] Speaker E: I'm gonna have to go with Slinky Dog.
[00:43:51] Speaker A: Oh, we're tied one.
[00:43:53] Speaker D: There's no wrong answer here, Brooks. Let's be real.
[00:43:56] Speaker A: But you're gonna eliminate one great attraction. Veronica, what you thinking? One to one. Give it to us. Be honest. Oh, two to one with the Hulk.
That's a tough one, Christy.
[00:44:08] Speaker C: Slinky Dog.
I love that.
[00:44:12] Speaker A: Right?
[00:44:12] Speaker C: I love that whole what they've done with the whole toy concept.
And it truly.
[00:44:19] Speaker A: See, this is. Okay, now you guys do this on purpose.
[00:44:22] Speaker E: I see. I. I want to clarify my answer a little bit beforehand.
[00:44:29] Speaker A: You can't change, but you can.
[00:44:30] Speaker E: No, no, no. I'm not changing. I'm not changing at all.
If we were going just pure ride, not theming. Cue everything.
[00:44:42] Speaker D: Everything's tight in. Come on.
[00:44:44] Speaker E: Well, no, I'm. But I'm just saying just the actual thrill ride. The Hulk is better.
However, like Christy was saying, the.
That whole theming, the.
Now, the only thing that Slinky Dog has not going for it is a lack of shade. But the fact that you're shrunk down and the way that. I mean, it looks like stuff is held together with gum in some parts, and stuff like that is. It's more immersive. So.
[00:45:15] Speaker A: Okay, you bring up a valid point there.
But, I mean, take the land away from the attraction.
Just look at the theming of Slinky Dog in general. Do you still feel like you're a shrunk down toy? That's the question I asked. Because there's also theming in the queue line of the Hulk as well. Telling you kind of the backstory of Bruce Banner and all of that. As well, so we're tied two to two, and. I'm sorry, guys. Slinky Dog not moving on. I know. No, I know. The Hulk. I gotta find that number now, because I gotta get paper.
Where is it? There it is. There we go. Okay, it's been a rough one so far, but this one should honestly be pretty easy.
Headed on over to Universal Orlando. The race through New York starring Jimmy Fallon over the Transformers 3D ride attraction.
[00:46:21] Speaker D: We can just eliminate both.
[00:46:22] Speaker A: Nope. You gotta pick one, Veronica.
[00:46:24] Speaker D: We can keep. We can keep Slinky.
[00:46:26] Speaker A: No. Veronica. What you got?
[00:46:28] Speaker C: Yeah, let's do that, I guess.
[00:46:31] Speaker B: I love Bumblebee, so I'll go Transformers.
[00:46:35] Speaker A: I really don't either, Christy.
[00:46:40] Speaker C: I'm not a fan of either, but I do like New York, so I'll go with Jimmy Fallon, Steph.
[00:46:48] Speaker A: Transformers, and Brooks.
[00:46:51] Speaker E: Robots in Disguise. Transformers.
[00:46:55] Speaker A: Transformers it is. Let's get out of that one, because that Kelton.
[00:46:58] Speaker E: What would you have picked if he had to?
[00:47:00] Speaker A: Transformers. All right, trim me. I don't like that.
[00:47:03] Speaker D: I like the movies. I do like the movies a lot.
[00:47:06] Speaker A: Oh, Megan Fox. Moving on. The Kero Susel or the new Trolls Trollcoaster?
Troller Coaster.
[00:47:21] Speaker D: I really thought you were going to compare it to Carousel of Progress and just do, like, a name thing.
[00:47:27] Speaker A: Google did not pick that. So we have Kero Susel versus the Trolls Troller Coaster. Steph, you're up.
[00:47:38] Speaker D: I'm gonna go with the Kara Sousel.
[00:47:40] Speaker A: Kara Susel. Christy.
[00:47:43] Speaker C: Same.
[00:47:43] Speaker A: Kara Susel, Veronica. Kara Susel, and Brooks.
[00:47:50] Speaker E: I'll be the odd one now and go with the Troll goals, too.
[00:47:55] Speaker D: In all fairness, I haven't been to the new DreamWorks land.
[00:48:00] Speaker A: Not yet.
[00:48:01] Speaker D: Yeah, not yet. So that played a factor. Just saying.
[00:48:05] Speaker A: Oh, it definitely does.
[00:48:06] Speaker E: And I. And I haven't. I haven't ridden either. And I'm going with the Troll Coaster just because the third Troll movies brought in sync back together.
[00:48:16] Speaker A: Better place. Here we go. We're talking Kangan. Kudos, Twirl and Hurl.
Or Dumbo. Or Aladdin. Magic Carpet Ride, because it's all the same attraction. Or Triceratops against. Or Triceratops spins. Rest in peace. Ooh, Peter Pan's flight. Which one you eliminated, Veronica?
[00:48:37] Speaker B: I'm sorry.
[00:48:38] Speaker A: Peter Pan or.
Yes. Peter Pan's Flight or Kang And Kudos, Twirl and Hurl.
[00:48:46] Speaker B: Peter Pan's Flight for sure.
[00:48:48] Speaker A: Hands down, I think it's Christy.
[00:48:51] Speaker C: Peter Pan all the way.
[00:48:52] Speaker A: Yeah, I figured.
[00:48:53] Speaker D: So, Steph, Trice for me. Peter Pan and no Walker.
[00:48:58] Speaker E: I get. I'll go with if I had to choose, you know, Peter Pan.
I would, too. I have said before, I say again, I'm not the biggest fan of Peter Pan.
Of the ride.
I'm not.
[00:49:11] Speaker A: Say that louder for the people in the back.
[00:49:13] Speaker E: I am not the biggest fan of the Peter Pan. Rod ET does it better.
Moving right along.
[00:49:22] Speaker A: So if anybody knows of a good podcast host, the Mousehairs podcast might be looking for a fourth host coming up.
[00:49:29] Speaker D: Did he just compare Peter Pan with.
[00:49:31] Speaker C: ET Ah, that just hurt my heart.
[00:49:33] Speaker E: Hold on, Walt.
[00:49:35] Speaker D: Favorite crime was Peter Pan.
[00:49:37] Speaker A: The breaks.
Both attractions are fantastic.
[00:49:42] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:49:43] Speaker A: However, the fact that you don't like.
[00:49:45] Speaker D: Did you hear that? Did you hear that? That was my heart.
[00:49:48] Speaker A: People talk to us. What are we thinking?
[00:49:52] Speaker E: Here's my reasoning.
[00:49:56] Speaker A: I would love to hear this. The people are waiting.
[00:49:58] Speaker E: Peter Pan needs to slow it down just a tad. I feel like it goes too fast. You can't enjoy all the intricacies.
[00:50:07] Speaker C: That's a point. That's a good point.
[00:50:08] Speaker A: Okay, so it goes like you.
[00:50:10] Speaker E: You try. If you try to focus, like, you can almost get motion sickness because you're. You're going fast through that ride. And I understand why, because if they slow it down, then the lines will be even longer. So I understand why. The reason I say ET Is better is because it slows it down so you can see everything better.
[00:50:31] Speaker D: What cue do you like more?
[00:50:33] Speaker E: Moving right along. I've already. I've already broken people's hearts.
[00:50:38] Speaker D: Yeah. No, I'm gonna go cry now. This is ridiculous.
Oh, well, Peter Pan still won. Sorry.
[00:50:45] Speaker E: Yeah, Peter Pan. I mean, sorry, not sorry. I still voted for Peter Pan.
[00:50:49] Speaker D: I panic because you had a pen to your throat. No, the pen. The metaphorical pen of you getting X'd out.
[00:51:00] Speaker A: I started panicking for a second. I'm going, oh, my gosh, do I have ET on this list?
So it was bad for me. I know. That was pretty bad. Okay, Peter Pan, moving on. Thank goodness for that one.
No yawning yet. We got a long way to go. Moving on. Toy Story Mania. Ooh. Or Revenge of the Mummy. Oh, yeah. Brooks, what do you got? Toy Story Mania. Revenge of the mummy. 5, 4.
[00:51:27] Speaker E: I have not been able to ride a Revenge of the money yet, so I'll have to go with Toy Story Mania.
[00:51:32] Speaker A: Toy Story Mania. Veronica.
Five, four, three. Pick two. Toy Story Mania. Christy, we got two. And.
[00:51:44] Speaker C: Oh, Toy Story.
[00:51:47] Speaker A: There we go. Three. And. Oh. It could be a clean sweep. Steph, what you got?
[00:51:51] Speaker D: Toy Story.
[00:51:53] Speaker A: Toy Story Mania.
False for you guys. I'm using one of my overrides we're going Revenge of the Mummy. Moving on. Goodbye Toy Story Mania.
[00:52:06] Speaker E: When I went to Universal last, Revenge of the Mummy was down and I was very, very bummed about not being able to ride it.
[00:52:16] Speaker D: And now he's a fantastic ride and.
[00:52:18] Speaker E: I'm so excited to ride it, hopefully in the future.
[00:52:22] Speaker A: It is, it is a great attraction and I'm going based off of, you know, you look at both cues. Both cues are full phenomenal. Okay, theming out the off the charts on that one. But when you look at the ride itself, there are plenty of attractions that you can score on in Disney World. Meaning it's just Mania and Buzz Lightyear at that point.
But when you're going up against the Mummy, an original attraction, I'm sorry, I could not let that one be eliminated.
[00:52:57] Speaker D: When I did grabash back in whatever year I graduated high school.
When I tell you we would get off and get back on. Get off, get back on, get off, get back on. Like, probably did that ride easily six, seven, eight times in a row at one point during the night. Not even, not even regretting that at all. But I love the Mummy. But Toy Story Mania is just a lot of fun.
[00:53:24] Speaker A: It is a lot of fun.
[00:53:25] Speaker D: It is a lot of fun. It actually works.
[00:53:28] Speaker A: It does. But I'm always about getting my cup of coffee there at the end. So we're moving along. And this one kind of has a bye week according to the March Madness tournament bracket. So automatically, Jurassic World Velocicoaster moving on to round two.
That one barely made it.
[00:53:49] Speaker E: The skin of his teeth.
[00:53:51] Speaker A: Skin of his teeth. Here we go for the other side of the bracket.
I hope you're ready. I promise you. Round two.
[00:54:00] Speaker E: Oh, man. I don't know about you, but I need a break from this episode of the Mouse Ears podcast. But don't worry, we will be coming back with part two of the March Madness episode later on this week.
