[00:00:00] Speaker A: Hey, everyone. Welcome to the season four premiere of the Mouse Ears podcast. That's right. Season four, baby. So this week's episode, we are talking about what's coming in 2025. That's right. A list of new attractions and offerings from major Disney, not Disney, Universal Cruise Lines. All inclusive travel destinations. 2025. And boy, do we talk about a lot. [00:00:31] Speaker B: Excited? Yes. [00:00:33] Speaker A: So we hope that you enjoyed this episode. We're going to dive right in because it is a long one, is a two parter and hope you all enjoy. All right, let's cue that intro. [00:01:02] Speaker B: Foreign. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, welcome. I welcome you back to season four of the Bouncers podcast, a podcast of all things travel, but mostly Disney season four. And we were just talking about that this is the first season that we've kept the same host from the last season. So nothing has changed there, which is fantastic. So let me go around the room right quick. We've got Jen in South North Carolina. Jen, good evening. [00:01:37] Speaker C: Good evening. [00:01:38] Speaker B: We've got Steph down in the home state of Florida. Steph, good evening. [00:01:44] Speaker C: Good evening. Kelton. [00:01:46] Speaker B: Fantastic. My boy Brooks over in Chucktown South Cackalacky because he put it in the. [00:01:52] Speaker A: Video and that's how you properly spell it. And we can say we're one of the four horse people. Horsemen. Horse. Women. [00:02:02] Speaker B: Horse people. [00:02:03] Speaker A: Yeah, horse people. Since we're men and women. [00:02:06] Speaker B: Season four horse. [00:02:07] Speaker A: Yeah, that's right. [00:02:08] Speaker B: Dan. Fantastic. And of course my name is Kelton. So I'm here with you as well from the one and only great state. [00:02:16] Speaker A: Of Texas, which if you don't know if he's. If you didn't know he's from Texas, you can tell by his hat he's from Texas. [00:02:22] Speaker C: Deep in. [00:02:22] Speaker B: Technically not from Texas. I want to raise that on my second like right there. It's like a tie of Florida. But we're not here to talk about where we're from. We are here to go over what's coming in 2025. I do want to just quick shout out to all of you guys who are watching us over on YouTube. You can tell that obviously I am in Texas because I've got my cowboy hat on. It is. We're starting up rodeo season. The barbecue cook off is next month. They just announced the lineup for Rodeo Houston on the 9th. So we are full blown getting ready to go into rode season. God bless Texas. I'm so excited for it. So we're getting ready. But what's coming new in 2025? There's a lot of stuff Steph's been killing it on the show notes today. So we're pretty much talking about the new news. So we're gonna skip the new news at this point. Let's just go ahead and dive on over to today's trivia question. Brooks, take it away. [00:03:32] Speaker A: That's right. Today's trivia question is brought to you, of course, by Magic Candle Company. Next time you want a Disney inspired scent to fill your home or office, whether it be a candle room spray or more, use our special promo code mouse ears for 15% off, that is without the dashes. M O U S E E A R s for 15% off of any future Magic Candle Company purchase. So we were trying to figure out the trivia question for today and then I saw a post and I was like, that is a perfect trivia question. So as the time as of this recording, Space Mountain over at Magic Kingdom just celebrated its 50th anniversary. It's hard to believe 50 years that ride. But there is another attraction at the Magic Kingdom that also celebrated their 50th anniversary the same day as Space Mountain. Can you guess which attraction that is? Put your guess in the comments down below on Facebook and or let us know on YouTube, Facebook, wherever you want to guess and we'll let you know at the end of the episode what the answer is. Back to you, Kelton. [00:04:49] Speaker B: Fantastic. I don't know if I even know. So we'll have to wait and see if we get it right. Towards the end, however, it is time to dive in to what is going to be a very, probably a very opinionated episode. But I digress. Here we go. I figure we're going to save some of the ones we know the best for last. There's a couple that we could probably spend hours talking about, but we don't want to do that to you guys. So let's start off with who do we kind of. What did you say? [00:05:22] Speaker A: I said or do we. [00:05:24] Speaker B: I mean, that's right. [00:05:25] Speaker A: This is a five hour episode. People strap in. [00:05:29] Speaker B: If you're sitting in either Houston, Orlando, Atlanta or any large city traffic, we got you covered for the next five hours. Here we go. So all of these topics now there's a, there's a lot of different travel destinations that one could go to. You can go to the beautiful Florida Keys, go ahead and hang out at an all inclusive in Mexico. You want to do some like snowboarding up in Montana, go hang out at Hawaii, go do a river cruise in Europe. There is so many things you can do. However we're not, we're not talking about all of those. We are going to talk about some. These four topics are some of the highest selling destinations that Fairy Tale Journeys travel sells. And also, I mean, they're also kind of high up. And Steph, get. I know I'm gonna mess it up. But what's the ranking that, you know, these destinations, Disney, Universal, all give their agencies, if they hit like a certain dollar amount they sell. What's that? [00:06:40] Speaker C: Need to help me with that. But it's basically our. Oh my gosh, I just had it. See a recognition. Recognition how we're recognized with each of these vendors. So we have a certain, almost like a title with them because of how much we sell. So they recognize us for our high sell count. Guesses. That's, that's where it comes. [00:07:03] Speaker B: No, I think you're right. So now if we could just get one of those name plates for us too, that'd be pretty cool. Like right, you know, just right, right there. So let's go ahead and just start out with a great one. All inclusive. Usually down in the Caribbean areas, I'm talking about sandals or sandals and beaches if you want to put them together, but more of sandals. So does anybody want to take sandals? Because that could take sandals. [00:07:31] Speaker C: Sandals too. [00:07:32] Speaker B: I don't mind. You're gonna take sandals. [00:07:33] Speaker C: Okay, that's fine. So if you've been listening to us the past couple seasons, we have had guests come on and talk about sandals. Sandals is all inclusive. They have multiple different locations throughout the Caribbean. And like I said, one of the, or like Kelton said, one of the most sought after all inclusive resorts because of how much they offer. And even though our first point isn't necessarily a 2025 new thing or news, it still is important to. To mention. And that is because sandals Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, those that opened in 2024. And this is an all inclusive resort that is situated on a private cove bordered by a lush forest and a gently flowing river. It features overwater villas, beachfront villas, 11 dining concepts and nine unique bars, providing guests with a luxurious and immersive experience. Though honestly, it's such a fantastic new location for people to experience going into 2025 if they want something that's not just extremely serene, but it gives you like this luxurious VIP feel to it. Honestly, a lush forest and gently flowing river. Talk about disconnecting. Wow. [00:08:53] Speaker B: Now if they could just get rid of the WI Fi so we can really disconnect. [00:08:57] Speaker C: You know, I've always wanted to do that, but I can't. So much happens on my phone between work and family. Good Lord. Anyways, moving on then, we've got Sandals Royal Barbados. The newly expanded Sandals Royal Barbados offers a blend of sophistication and relaxation. This luxurious resort, set along a gorgeous white sand beach, features a rooftop pool offering stunning views of the Caribbean Sea. An infinity edge pool and the first Sandals bowling alley are all included at this location. The Love Nest Butler Suite. That's kind of a mouthful. Provide personalized butler service ensuring every detail of your stay is meticulously catered to who does not want to be serviced on vacation. It's the best feeling in the world. Before I mention this last one, for those of you listening, if you are new and would like to know more about Sandals and beaches, please let us know. And if you have been here for a while and have listened to our Sandals episodes in the past and would like to know more about some of the other destinations in the Caribbean, let us know as well. Lastly, we've got Sandals Regency La Talke la Talk. I think it's the talk in December 2024. So literally just a few weeks ago, Sandals Regency LA Talk introduced new Rondaval Suites available for booking starting March 2025. These suites offer a unique and luxurious accommodation option for guests seeking an intimate and private retreat. Need I say more? I don't think so. That about does it for Sandals as of this point in time. I'm sure we're going to get some more news, some more information, and some more great guests on the Mouse Sears podcast so we can continue talking about these magical getaways. And yes, Sandals is adult only. Beaches is family friendly. Let us know what you want to know more about. Back to you, Kelton. [00:11:05] Speaker B: No, I agree. I mean, that's. When you think about it, that's relaxation in a nutshell. Just get on a plane. [00:11:14] Speaker C: Butler service, honeymooners, vow renewals, or just plain old I need to get away and recharge and not think about lifting anything. [00:11:27] Speaker B: I agree. I agree. So we're going to keep with the water and Caribbean theme that I so wish I could be at right now because this coming week in Houston, I mean, we're. They're talking like 55% chance of snow, y'all. Snow. I don't want to be here. I want to be. I'd love to be at a Sandals resort. Or since we do have Port of Galveston, you know, right down the way there, I'd really love to jump on a Caribbean Royal Caribbean Cruise. Like really bad. Really bad. Some different things coming for Royal Caribbean, not just in 2025, but also looking past 2025. So for royal Caribbean, this year we're getting a brand new ship, not really a new concept. We're getting Star of the Seas, which is the second Icon Class coming to Port Canaveral over there in Florida. So the second Icon Class start and Star of the Seas really should be here in Texas because Star of the Seas, Stars of Night in Texas, it all just kind of equals out Royal. [00:12:46] Speaker A: Just a missed opportunity on that one. Just a missed opportunity. [00:12:50] Speaker B: A big one. I like the amount of marketing you could do with just. That would be fantastic. Anyway, so the ship is designed more with a combination of thrilling activities, relaxation spots, very diverse dining options, and really catering to a very wide range of, you know, how you want a vacation. One of the articles I was reading with Star of the Seas and the Icon Class ships is that, you know, Michael Bailey and Royal kind of just thought it's like, it's time to start competing with places like, you know, maybe not sandals, but like some of your other all inclusives over in Mexico. It's like, how can we take that and put it onto a ship in the middle of the, of the water? So I think that's why they really designed the Icon Class the way that they did. But keeping with that, they, Royal has also expanded on their cruise schedule going into April of 2027. Right now we just started 25, so we're going two plus years that you can book any of their cruise destinations worldwide. And y'all can choose from a huge amount of itineraries, including Alaska, Australia and many other global trips, ensuring a diverse range of options for any and all interests. Where, where would you, if you could go cruise on Royal? Not any other one, but on Royal. Where would you go? If you could cruise to any country itinerary, do anything like that, what would, what, what would you guys pick? [00:14:47] Speaker C: I go to Alaska. I really want to go to Alaska. I. I won't say it's my only destination that I want to go to, but yeah, that's the first one. I just, I've seen all the sceneries and pictures and videos. I've had clients that have traveled, friends and family have traveled to there, and I want to do it. It's going to happen. Yeah, that's definitely number one as far as. Because that'll be easier than going to Australia or like the Galapagos. I would love to do the Galapagos. That's. That's a bucket list, right? Tardiga Too. Don't get me wrong, I feel like Alaska is just a little bit more attainable right now anyways. [00:15:26] Speaker B: Very true, very true. [00:15:28] Speaker A: See if I had, if I had a choice between any of them, you know, money's no, money's no option. I would go with Australia. I think that would be fun. Especially because you're going to be on that ship for a while so you're going to be able to experience that ship and everything it has to offer. And then you get down to Australia and it's a whole nother world. [00:15:55] Speaker C: Are you taking like a trans Pacific cruise to Australia or like a cruise around Australia? How are you envisioning this trip? [00:16:03] Speaker A: That is true to me because you. [00:16:05] Speaker B: You could do, you could fly to like Hawaii, like, like Hawaii and then do a. It's like a 14 or a 16 night itinerary. [00:16:13] Speaker C: 100% would do that. [00:16:15] Speaker B: Yeah. Like how much vacation time are you thinking I can spend? Because a week and a hot Hawaii. Two week cruise. A week in Australia. [00:16:25] Speaker A: Here's the thing. Money's no object. [00:16:27] Speaker C: Seems worth it to me, Kelton. [00:16:29] Speaker A: See, Money's no object. [00:16:31] Speaker B: Yeah. I mean that's fantastic. [00:16:34] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:16:35] Speaker C: And my mental health is priceless. [00:16:38] Speaker B: That's right. Absolutely. Jenny, how about you? If you could. Do you have one? [00:16:44] Speaker D: I would like to do the Australia New Zealand route also. I really would like to do that. I think about New Zealand. Yeah. So they have an Australia New Zealand and I think that that would be. I think that would be just amazing. [00:17:03] Speaker A: And have an excursion with Lord of the Rings just ticking all the boxes again, you know, because we spare no expense. [00:17:13] Speaker C: What about you? [00:17:14] Speaker B: There's a lot of them and I don't know if I would. I would like to think I would do it but I don't know if I actually would. The World Ultimate Cruise. 276 days. And if, if we're, if we're not, you know, sparing any expenses here, I'm going like the owner's suite. Like the one that has the baby grand piano in your room type of suite. [00:17:40] Speaker A: Would you tickle those keys? [00:17:42] Speaker B: I, I tickle the keys a little bit. However, I can't play piano. I sound like. It's almost like when Kenny plays, you know, his little piano that he has. It just. It doesn't sound. [00:17:55] Speaker A: For some reason, Kelton, I envision the scene in Big with Tom Hanks and I think you can play piano like that. I may be dating myself with that reference. [00:18:06] Speaker B: Maybe one day and just a little bit. [00:18:10] Speaker A: Okay. [00:18:10] Speaker C: That's the ultimate for sure. [00:18:12] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:18:13] Speaker A: Okay, real quick. Have y'all heard about that cruise that. I don't even know who's putting it on, but there's a cruise line that's putting on a four year cruise while or certain someone is in office. Like you can choose like a one year escape or four year. You're there. [00:18:34] Speaker B: I, I have briefly heard it, so I know you're not lying. Yes, I have. [00:18:40] Speaker A: That's. That's crazy. [00:18:41] Speaker B: See, I just don't think I could, I could manage to be in one spot. Not really one spot, but you know. [00:18:48] Speaker A: Because I think it's like $40,000 per year and that's without excursions and that's just staying on the ship. [00:18:57] Speaker C: You can easily spend a lot more and just like mortgage electricity. [00:19:01] Speaker A: But can you, but can you imagine, but can you imagine four years and you're in a, like no windows, nothing. [00:19:12] Speaker C: I would not be in an interior at that point. No, sir. [00:19:16] Speaker D: I think that's too long for a. [00:19:20] Speaker C: I'll do a year for a stateroom for. [00:19:23] Speaker B: So if it is $40,000 for a year, you divide that by your 12 and you're just over like $3,300 a month. I mean, I don't know about you all, but I certainly spend more than 3,300 bucks a month with everything that I have. [00:19:43] Speaker C: And think about it, that includes food. That includes someone turning down your room every day. [00:19:49] Speaker B: Turned down for what? [00:19:51] Speaker C: No kidding. I mean, that's, that's tempting. You got entertainment every night and you don't have to drive anywhere. It's. [00:20:02] Speaker B: Walk back to my stateroom. That's great. [00:20:04] Speaker C: Yeah, but, but how, how much would the WI fi be? [00:20:09] Speaker B: Well, wi fi is expensive at 25 a day. So you add that in and it's not the best. Like, sorry, Elon, you need to work on that a little bit when you're out there in the Atlantic. Like, let's fix it. [00:20:19] Speaker C: Agreed. [00:20:20] Speaker B: But I am kind of surprised that, you know, nobody said the next two, which is quite okay because I mean, you know, we, they're just like right down there in the, you know, the Gulf or the Caribbean. But we also have opening this year. So like, and I told my family, it's like we're pushing our cruises back so we can go to both of these next two locations, but opening up in December, just December of 25. We don't have a specific date yet, but the Royal Caribbean Beach Club. Or the Royal Beach Club, I'm sorry, down in Nassau, Bahamas. Now let me get my correct window open here. So I can tell you about it because it's going to be, I think it's going to be cool. I've seen pictures, they're already, you know, starting with cement trucks and all this building stuff going on down there. But the Rook, the Royal Beach Club now it is going to be kind of like an excursion cost. So how, what do you call like a day pass type of thing? If you're going to another, you know, one of the other resorts. But this is your all inclusive pass to paradise. And by the pictures, if it looks anything like the pictures, it's going to be paradise. No more having to, you know, walk to. Is it Junico Beach, Juno or June? I think it's Junea Co beach or anything like that. But they're gonna have a bunch of bar, I think it's like seven beach bars and three poolside watering holes. So all you can drink, there's going to be three different locations across the island for food you've got two different beaches, three pools and of course family friendly fun. So we're taught. And that is the Royal Beach Club in Nassau, Bahamas right there at the port as well. But then the other one that I'm excited about the most mainly because I can drive 70 miles down to Galveston, get on a ship and be down there in two days. And that is Perfect Day Mexico. We don't know much about it. We know it's opening in 27. That's really kind of about most of the main details that we know. But I mean Royal put in millions of dollars to design and build Perfect Day at Cococay in the Bahamas. I think they're going to do the same with this one. And with Perfect Day Mexico they are talking about, you know, new adventures for the western Caribbean which is great because on this side, especially for these ships that we have, we only have Cozumel, Costa Maya and Roachan are really the only places we go. There are times if they're on a smaller ship they can do the Grand Cayman and tender over. But you can't just, you can't tender on the big ships. It's, it's just too many people. Perfect Day Mexico is going to be down in the port of Costa Maya which honestly was just designed as a cruise port to begin with. However, they're going to have an all new thrilling water park. Jaw dropping pools and beaches, restaurants, bars, music, a whole lot of fun. That's one I'm looking forward to. And yes, I think we need press passes to that one. I will be there in a Heartbeat. Y'all should, too. But anyway, that's all we really have. [00:24:05] Speaker A: I will be 41 when that opens. [00:24:09] Speaker B: All right. [00:24:09] Speaker A: Then I'll be old. I'll be the DB designated buddy. [00:24:13] Speaker B: You will be. You will help us get back to our rooms. [00:24:16] Speaker D: That's all we ask. That's all we need. [00:24:19] Speaker A: Because you know that sticky mic. I need that as a sticker. I am your universal designated buddy. [00:24:24] Speaker B: I love it. So I think we should jump around a little bit from the show notes here. We're talking about. [00:24:34] Speaker A: We've been doing that from the beginning. [00:24:35] Speaker B: I know. It's. We've gone just up and down. Well, really, we're going from the bottom up. I think it started from the bottom. [00:24:44] Speaker A: Now we're here. [00:24:46] Speaker B: I knew it. So now let's work our way from the top down. See, now we're going top down. We're going to leave the middle, you know, for a little bit later. Let everything else digest. Let's talk about Disney Cruise Line and all of the goodies that DCL has to offer. Who wants to talk about Disney Cruise Line? Come on, don't be shy. [00:25:12] Speaker A: I'll take it. Let me. Let me. The one that has not been on any cruises whatsoever, but let me channel my queen of dcl, Laura here. [00:25:27] Speaker B: Okay, we need your finest New York accent. [00:25:32] Speaker A: Well, that is. It is not fine. I can do coffee talk if anyone remembers that SNL skit. I feel a little clipped. Talk a much as elf. I give you a topic. Barbra Streisand, the Prince of Tides. Disgust. Okay. Anyway, so now we're going to. [00:25:50] Speaker B: That was good. [00:25:56] Speaker A: So we're talking about Disney Cruise lines. So let's first talk about. The Disney Destiny is scheduled for his maiden voyage on November 20, 2020. The Disney Destiny will celebrate the dynamic duality of heroes and villains from Disney classics. I am proud of myself for pronouncing duality correctly. [00:26:23] Speaker B: I would have stumbled. [00:26:24] Speaker A: Death improving. So the ship will prominently feature Marvel characters, including a Worlds of Marvel restaurant with a Guardians of the Galaxy dinner show and a lounge inspired by Dr. Strange's sanctum sanctorum. That will be amazing. Hopefully the menu that you get at the dinner show is not written in Groot, because you may not know what you're getting because everything is just, I am Groot. So. But did you know. Did you know that with Guardians of the Galaxy, Vin Diesel actually has a script of what Groot is saying, and he says, I am Groot in the tone of how he's supposed to be saying those words. Like, there is an actual script of what Groot is supposed to be saying. That is another useless piece of knowledge for today. Continuing the lobby of the Disney Destiny will showcase a Black Panther statue themed to Wakanda. And the Destiny Tower suite will draw inspiration from Iron Man. So that if you are a Marvel fan, that is the cruise for you. That, that's just. It sounds like it's their destiny to go on the Destiny. [00:27:51] Speaker B: So it does. It does sound like a really cool show. [00:27:54] Speaker A: It's that. That definitely sounds like one that if you have little kids that especially if they're watching the, like the new Spider man show that has a lot of these characters on there, they'll recognize some. They'll recognize a lot of them. So it caters to the young as Disney does caters to young ones and the parents alike. So. And stuff. I'm sorry. [00:28:21] Speaker C: Something that Laura had mentioned and I really, it really stuck out to me was when we were on the Disney Treasure is that Disney is starting to cater to a larger Disney audience. Because I feel like most people think of like the Fab Five, Mickey and Friends or princesses. And now we're kind of expanding from that and it's really showcasing in these different venue spaces aboard these new Disney Cruise Line ships. So I just think that a ship like this is really going to be piquing a lot of people's interest. A lot of children who are a little bit more active in like the action. And I'm excited. I think the Destiny is going to be a hit, especially with how successful the Treasure was. [00:29:04] Speaker A: Yeah, the Destiny destined for greatness. [00:29:06] Speaker B: But, but like. And this is where I get a little hurt as a 33 year old Disney adult. Y'all have seen these kid clubs on these ships. It's like, I'm sorry, where was that? In 2007 when I cruised on Sovereign of the Seas with Royal Caribbean, we did not have a kids club like that. [00:29:30] Speaker C: The Oceaneers Club. Are you kidding me? I want to be in that Star wars phase. I get so I'm like upset for my cousin who's going to have her last year at the Oceaneer Club. This year when we go on the cruise in August and I'm just like, I'll be crying with you. Like I have been for the past how many years. You at least got to experience it. [00:29:52] Speaker B: If Disney could go and be like, look, okay kids, we got you covered. Oceaneers Club. But we're going to make a club strictly for Disney adults. Not just. You have to prove that you are a Disney Adult to get into this very specific, specially designed place on a ship. [00:30:12] Speaker C: Couldn't agree more. Could not agree more. And I just feel like the Disney Wish Star Wars Lounge needs to step up their game a little bit because the Haunted Mansion Parlor was just. They knocked that one out of the park. They knocked that one out of the park. So yeah, I think we need a redo. That's all I gotta say. Redo. [00:30:35] Speaker A: Whoa. [00:30:36] Speaker C: Mm. Yeah. [00:30:38] Speaker A: All right. So moving on from the. From the Disney Destiny. We're now on the Disney Adventure. Oh. Launching in December of 2025. So it's going to be a busy couple of months for dcl. The Disney Adventure will be the largest ship in the fleet, accommodating up to 6700 guests. That's a lot of people. Homeboarding in Singapore. It will feature seven themed zones including the Imagination Garden, a central park surrounded by shops, bars, restaurants and open air performance areas. This ship will offer over 20 different dining options, ensuring a diverse culinary experience for all guests. Yes. [00:31:29] Speaker B: Sounds like a Royal Caribbean ship. [00:31:31] Speaker C: And it'll be the only one of its class. So there won't be multiple mega ships. This will be the only one. At least for the foreseeable future. [00:31:39] Speaker B: I think they'll make more. [00:31:43] Speaker C: Well, the fact that this mega ship is only offered in like four day itineraries is insane to me. Insane. [00:31:52] Speaker B: So I'm curious and I. Because so Royal Caribbean has designed. I mean they have two classes of ships that are designed just like the Adventure is. Even though Disney bought the Adventure. That I digress. Those type of ships do fabulous in the US market. Why did Disney put this in Singapore? [00:32:19] Speaker C: They have nothing in the Asian market. Asian countries. [00:32:25] Speaker B: Which is why I think they magic or the wonder over there and give us the adventure is what I would. [00:32:34] Speaker A: Adventure. [00:32:35] Speaker B: I mean, I still think, I think it's. I don't know why y'all hate on the Central park area. [00:32:41] Speaker A: Who said I hate it on the Central park area? [00:32:44] Speaker B: Who said it sounded like. [00:32:47] Speaker C: Oh, I'm not hating. I'm not hating at all. [00:32:50] Speaker A: Do I need to reread that? [00:32:53] Speaker C: I will say that I'm like curious to see such a massive Disney cruise ship. That's gonna be like a. I, you know, I cry like the regular ship. The regular Disney ship. I can't imagine going on the Adventure and the just onslaught of emotions because it's just that, you know, there's so much. [00:33:20] Speaker A: You'll have rehydration stations so you can rehydrate your tear ducts and so you can continue to Cry. [00:33:26] Speaker C: I'm. I'm not hating on it by any means. The only thing I'm hating on is that it's in Singapore and it's four day itineraries. That's what I'm hating on. [00:33:36] Speaker B: You know a fan of the four day itinerary on such a big ship, right? [00:33:42] Speaker C: Exactly. You, that is the kind of ship that you're going to need to go on it multiple times to be able to. If we're struggling with a three night itinerary on the wish, I can't even imagine on something like this. And the wish holds 3,000 people. [00:34:00] Speaker B: I'm telling you. I think the adventure, I think the best itinerary for the adventure would actually be Western Caribbean out of Galveston. Honestly, I think is the best one. [00:34:11] Speaker D: Yeah, I agree with that. I think so too. [00:34:14] Speaker B: Because it takes, come on, stay awake. It takes, I mean really, when you're talking about, you know, most of these ships cruise at. If they're, if they're cooking, they're cruising about 20 to 24 knots which is not very fast. Like, which is why it takes you almost a day and a half to get. I mean Disney, the Disney Magic right now, because it is here right now does four and five day itineraries. They have the four day is two cruising days with a day in Progresso which if you don't know where Progresso is. So like here's Galveston and then you come like come the circle and then it's like kind of at towards the top of Mexico is where Progreso is. It only takes a day to get there, but then you add in Cozumel. So then your 5 days going to Progreso and then loop it around to the island of Cozumel and then kicking it back, you know, seven days. I mean Royal does it, Carnival does it, MSC does it, Norwegian does it. Come on Disney, help a brother out. Come on. All right, let's go on, get to. [00:35:22] Speaker C: The next topic real quick. If you haven't seen those prices for those Fortnite itineraries on this mega ship, I still recommend you reach out to Fairy Tale Journeys to see if that's something you could do because that's still a bucket list. Even if we have hot takes. It is not bad. Just saying, not bad at all. [00:35:42] Speaker B: So now we'll go on, get over to the next one. And this is kind of pick because now we're down to like the big three. So what are we going to talk about next? [00:35:53] Speaker A: I say we do Disneyland to save us, to save the best I want to save the best for last. Sorry, not hating on Disneyland, but I think there's more news with the other. [00:36:07] Speaker B: Two and Walt just rolled in his grave for. [00:36:10] Speaker C: Well, I was totally going to go for the Universal. [00:36:13] Speaker D: First, I was going to say Disneyland. [00:36:17] Speaker A: All right, Kelton, which one do you want to go for? [00:36:20] Speaker B: We go Disneyland. We're saving Universal. We're going to talk Disneyland. Sorry, Steph. I know, I know it's sweet in your heart, but there's something better sweetening minor Brooks's heart. [00:36:33] Speaker C: Listen, I'm really not that offended. We're fine. We're fine. [00:36:39] Speaker A: We're fine. [00:36:43] Speaker B: I'm in danger. [00:36:44] Speaker C: Listen, there's only one real reason why I just don't want Disneyland to be knocked down. But it's not as epic as something else. [00:36:53] Speaker B: So, hey, Disneyland. I mean, it. It is the original park. It's the one that. It is the one that started everything. I mean. So who wants it? I just dropped the cap to my pen. [00:37:11] Speaker A: No. Okay, not everyone volunteer once. Wow, I just spoke. [00:37:18] Speaker C: I can do Disneyland, but I don't know if Jen wants to. [00:37:21] Speaker D: You can do Disneyland. I haven't been out there yet, so. [00:37:26] Speaker A: You'Re the only one that has. [00:37:28] Speaker B: Just use the show notes. [00:37:29] Speaker C: If you insist. I haven't been to sandals either, I'll tell you that much. [00:37:34] Speaker A: All right, she's doing the Galinda here. [00:37:36] Speaker D: She's doing toss, toss. [00:37:38] Speaker B: Galinda, toss, toss. [00:37:40] Speaker C: I can't do my foot, or else I'll bang my desk. I've already done it three times. Okay, so real quick. Disneyland Resort has, like, already given us a whole bunch of dates for the whole year. These dates are fantastic. It really helps for planning out where. Walt Disney World. We don't have the same schedule. Not yet. So I'm going to go through that real quick, and then I'm kind of going to tack on the two, three. Two things that are really big in my eyes. All right, so bear with me. Starting tomorrow, aka January 17th. Not tomorrow, the day that this episode is dropping. So from January 17 through February 16, 2025, give or take about a month, the Lunar New Year celebration begins. And I'm like, this is something that I would love to be able to experience. I've seen the pictures. I've seen, like, the food that they have, the decorations at Disney California Adventure. I was telling Michael, like, oh, my goodness. I like, let's go to California. It looks awesome. Seriously love that they're doing that. Moving on from February 28 through April 2. So right after the Lunar New Year Celebrations. Disney California is going to have their food and Wine Festival. And no, it is not at the same time as our Walt Disney World Food and Wine Festival. So you know you can double dip if you wanted to. Then you have the Season of the Force coming to Disneyland. And this will include the return of Hyperspace Mountain and the Fire of the Rising Moons fireworks spectacle that you could see from the Galaxy's edge land over there. And that will run from March 28 through May 11. That's a pretty long time and I absolutely love it. Especially, I think what I would be most excited about is the Hyperspace Mountain. Honestly. Isn't Hyperspace Mountain what they have over in Disneyland Paris that they brought over? Or am I totally making that up? [00:39:41] Speaker B: I could, I want. I believe so you could. [00:39:43] Speaker C: I want to say yes, but I'm not 100%. Anyways, moving on. Halloween time at the Disneyland Resort. We all know this is huge. People go crazy over Oogie Boogie. Now, we don't have the dates for Oogie Boogie yet, but hello, the Halloween time at the Disneyland Resort will run from August 22 through October 31. So if nothing else, you know, at that time there will be Halloween decorations. Decorations. And you can kind of gate and use this calendar to figure out when you want to decorate your home. Pro tip, no one will judge you. Moving on. Plaza della Familia celebration, based off of the movie the Pixar animation Coco, will run from August 22nd through November 2nd, 2025. Holidays at the Disneyland Resort will return from November 4th 4th through January 2026. So pretty much a little over two months, which that's a good, good chunk of ch. One day I will get to see the holidays over there. Then construction for the Avengers campus expansion, which was mentioned at the D23 convention last year in Anaheim, will begin in 2025 on two new attractions for Vanders Campus at Disney California Adventure, further expanding the Marvel themed experiences for guests. I'm stoked, stoked about this. And what's really exciting isn't that they're starting the expansion and construction this year, but also because Disney has already made progress on this behind the scenes without even breaking ground yet. So fingers crossed it won't take five years for this expansion. [00:41:33] Speaker B: Well, now they're building an expansion, not just an attraction. So yes, could be a little bit longer or a little bit shorter. [00:41:42] Speaker C: Wow. I feel like they got a head. [00:41:44] Speaker A: Start or right in the middle. [00:41:47] Speaker B: I'll meet you in the middle, Little Diamond Rio. [00:41:52] Speaker C: Anyways, so I feel the biggest thing that we can talk about in regards to Disneyland is that starting this summer, specifically May 16, 2025, Disneyland is going to be celebrating their 70th anniversary. [00:42:08] Speaker B: 70S look so good, right? [00:42:12] Speaker C: So as I said, beginning May 16, 2025, Disneyland Resort will commemorate its 70th anniversary with special events and offerings including, but not limited, limiting to the return of the Paint the Night parade, which people are going crazy over this one, and the debut of the new World of Color Happiness show which is looks amazing, especially with all the tributes to Pixar. There is a so much tribute to Pixar over at Disneyland Resort in general, which is fantastic. And, and this is just two things. And they also have a brand new projection show, fireworks, a whole bunch of things for you to look forward to. But what I am looking most forward to and what I would most likely want to spend my money and will spend my money on is for the brand new attraction, Walt Disney Magical Life. This new show will debut in 2025 with the start of the 70th anniversary. Featuring the first ever audio animatronic representation of Walt Disney himself, offering guests an intimate look into his life and legacy. Can say without a shadow of a doubt it is probably one of the things that I'm most looking forward to in 2025 and I don't even live in California. [00:43:36] Speaker D: I will sob. [00:43:38] Speaker B: It will either be really, really, really awesome or really bad. [00:43:45] Speaker C: I'm gonna go with the really awesome. [00:43:48] Speaker B: Yeah, I, I think it's gonna be surreal to see. [00:43:51] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, yeah. I think any true Disney fan who already gets emotional at being at Disneyland for it being the original park will just sob uncontrollably. Feeling like to a degree you're in the same room as Walt Disney, which I'm pretty sure I don't know about you. Whenever I got asked like an icebreaker question, like if you were to have a conversation with anyone dead or alive, who would it be? Walt frickin Disney. Every single time. [00:44:22] Speaker A: I didn't know that was his middle name. [00:44:25] Speaker B: Walter F. Disney right there on the side of the train making me joke. [00:44:31] Speaker C: That's great. So anyways, yes, Walt Disney. And that kind of about does it for what you can. [00:44:42] Speaker A: Disneyland's got a lot coming. [00:44:47] Speaker B: So paint the night like you said, Paint the night is going to be huge for Disney. [00:44:51] Speaker C: It broke the Internet when that was when that it wasn't even like a formal announcement. It was a tease of a picture from a float, a paint the night float from a few years ago when it, you know, was a thing right when they had originally done it. The Internet broke that day. I remember how many influencers were making Instagram videos of their face, of their shock, their first impression, because they're like, oh my gosh, it's coming back. So really, really cool that they're tying in all these things for the 70th anniversary. I think if you've never been to Disneyland before going, and for those I didn't actually specify in my notes, that will run from May 16, 2025 through summer of 2026, or maybe a little bit further. There is no end date yet that has been announced, but you will have at least a year to be able to go and experience this. Obviously, lead some the Walt Disney Audi Animatronic isn't going anywhere past this celebration. He's hopefully there to stay, but there's definitely a lot to experience and it might be a great time for you to, you know, make the trip out to Disneyland and experience it during this celebration. [00:46:15] Speaker B: So anyways, I definitely don't think he's gonna run off anywhere. It's kind of a kind of hydraulic fluid. Yeah, I. [00:46:23] Speaker D: He had to. [00:46:26] Speaker B: Yeah, I'm laughing inside. I thought it was funny. Great old dude. [00:46:30] Speaker C: Back to you, Kelton. [00:46:31] Speaker B: Kenny's not even here to enjoy it. Lots to look forward to in Disneyland. It's going to be a heck of a time. It might be my first trip too. [00:46:40] Speaker C: However, let's do it. Mouse Ears trip to Disneyland. I really want to go. I've been like on my. [00:46:47] Speaker B: If we could go, we could potentially go early spring of 26. I might be able to make that work. I think we could do. Anyway, I think. I think we should talk about the other park. The park that must not be named, but we're gonna name it.
